I went to Dr Fields at DISC . I was referred there by my primary doctor Dr Sheridan James at Internal Medicine of Arizona. I was very happy with my total office experience with Dr. Fields’s . They were very efficient and kind . Dr Fields explained his opinion as he reviewed my MRIs with me. He gave me reasonable expectations. He offered treatment options to me as he reviewed and went over my MRI . He seemed confident , kind and compassionate !! . He provided alternates to surgery. A week later, when my pain escalated, they were able to get me in . He and his nurse practitioner Luke explained things to my partner as well as myself and answered more questions, . They provided a positive environment and gave us a great sense of confidence!! . I feel like he really cares about his patients.

He was very personal when we first met. Great sense of humor . He Read my x- rays and MRI and was very confident about the results. He was very sympathic about what was going on and wanted to know all the details of the pain I was experiencing. He was very emphatic about what I was experiencing and what the treatment should be. He felt all my vertebrae had good spacing and the trouble was arthritis pressing on my nerves. He felt that diagnosis injections and possible ablation treatment was the solution. He gave me a referral to a fellow pain doctor that day and I was at the Nova Spine Institute for a treatment the very next day. Could not be happier to be moving forward in solving this unbearable pain problem and getting back to normal.

Dr Field is a compassionate, highly trained, back and spine physician/surgeon. He listens to his patients, and effectively communicates test results, in a reassuring and caring manner, and explains clearly his proposed plan of action.

I’m really glad that I found Dr. Field and the folks at DISC. Both he and his team were extremely responsive and understanding of my situation. Dr. Field instilled confidence which was ultimately earned. His surgical team could not have been nicer. They made a scary situation much less so. I underwent a “microdiscectomy.” To my shock, 4½ hours after I entered DISC, I was home having lunch. I was warned that the pain I was experiencing could persist following the surgery for 4-6 weeks. Indeed, as I write this I am 4 weeks out of surgery and the pain which had been crippling before is now only occasional, minor and diminishing. If you have to undergo spine surgery, Dr. Field and his team are the right people. They certainly were for me.

Dr. Field has been my orthopedic surgeon since 2008. He’s professionally and surgically outstanding! He sincerely cares about his patients and wants only the best outcomes for his patients surgery and their recovery.

Dr Fields is an amazing surgeon He has treated my husband, my son & myself We would highly recommend him to any family members, as well as friends . His staff is very friendly & patient. Helping us through the process . It can be very scary to have any type of surgery, every person on his staff are very knowledgeable & caring.. The front desk helps you every way they can His PA’s Elizabeth & Luke are also extremely knowledgeable & helpful. The nurses in the surgery center were great!! So caring . They never make you feel like you are bothering them & will answer all your questions We appreciate every member of DISC

I am so grateful to have found Dr Fields I have had 2 surgeries with him & he has helped me tremendously My husband & son also had surgeries No problems at all for any of us He is patient & very thorough. Great bedside manner & really listens to you ! I would recommend him to any member of my family or any friends !!

Dr Field gets a 10+. From our first meeting he was informative, answered all of our questions, and explained the procedure in detail. Everything went perfect on surgery day with no issues. From reception to the OR, the staff made me feel welcome and were very efficient. Would highly recommend.

I’ve had more surgeries than I know. At least 25 and all were for pain. I’ve had spinal Implants after Implants as well as shoulder surgery and rib surgery and more When I found Dr Fields on the internet I thought I’d make an appointment. After taking the X-RAY’s and speaking with Dr Fields I thought I had found the right Doctor. However it wasn’t until a week after Dr Fields performed Cervical Spine surgery did I realize how fortunate I was. A week after my surgery there was no pain in my Cervical Spine and no pain running down both arms. It was as if I had a new lease on life and I could do things that I use to do. I feel Blessed to have had Dr Fields perform Cervical Spine Surgery on me. I’ll always be Grateful to him and his staff who are just compassionate. To me Dr Fields is the Best on the Planet.

Great salesman. At almost $30/minute to make each visit just for the initial consultation over $500, just like me they can cancel the procedure the day before and he can make a great living on that alone. Did I know the consultation would be that much before I went? No, not disclosed. His billing department will laugh at you right before they threaten to send you to collections simply because you called for an explanation and reconsideration of the bill. Does my scheduled day off get compensated? Nope. Does he return calls? No, he hides behind his staff. It seems he is more than willing to pay pennies on the dollar to a collections agency instead of discounting his consultation fee even one dollar. Yes, I asked for the dollar, they laughed. Don't go. If you get to the surgery part and if he is at least as good at that as he is in my opinion scamming me out of my money I am sure you will have relief. In my opinion, if they gave degrees in extortion he has earned his honorary master.
