Dr. Kenneth Steven Himmel, MD

Dr. Himmel has been treating me for several years. He diagnosed my current eye condition and has referred my to the top specialist that deals in this condition.

Dr. Himmel is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and has helped me many times.

Dr. Himmel has been treating me as a patient with Keratoconus for the past two years. I have been clinically blind for the past 45 or 46 years and have had to wear special Scleral lenses in order to see. When it came time to get cataract surgery, I knew I would still have to wear contacts because of the corneal disease I have, but I never expected the amount of correction that Dr. Himmel achieved for me. I can’t say enough good things about him – he is such a pleasure in every morn has been treating me as a patient with Care to Kona’s for the past two years. I can’t say enough good things about him – he is such a pleasure to work with and The same goes for his staff and everyone at new Mexico eye Associates. Even if you have to wait six months for an… appointment, I doubt you will find anyone better or more skilled, especially if you have a corneal disease. In my opinion, I couldn’t find anyone better! You would be lucky to get a chance to be treated by Dr. Himmel.

Dr. Himmel gave me sight when I was losing mine. I had Fuch's Corneal Dystrophy and he performed operations on both eyes putting in donor's corneas. They were so successful that I do not have to wear glasses for anything. In my humble estimation he is one in a million. I am a very fortunate person to have had him take care of my medical needs.
