My wife had cataracts with emphasis on "HAD" that is Until she met doctor Kenneth Rosenthal the surgery was brief and painless and she could see immediately afterward Before she could not see one foot in front of her. I had to read everything to her and describe what was on TV. So I Googled Ophthalmologist and cataracts found Doctor Kenneth Rosenthal Upon meeting the good doctor though very professional Doctor Rosenthal was kind compassionate truly listened took time to explain all concerns in everyday language. (And had a sense of humor.) We felt like we were speaking to a friend and immediately got the feeling that this man truly cares about you and feels for you. We knew we had come to the right place. Doctor Rosenthal's office décor its atmosphere is comfortable friendly NOT cold or stark or institutionalized as some. As far as wait time there really wasn't any. The staff are professional patient welcoming. courteous downright, friendly and address all your… concerns. The staff and doctor are accessible when you call and speak with Rita who is all of the above and then some Berta also. I could go on and on Lord knows I have been known to, but in a nutshell, my wife sees clearly out of the eye and going back for the other. We know we have come to the right place. Would I recommend to a friend ? ABSOLUTELY !!!!

Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Dr Rosenthal who restored vision in my right eye after a complication from a cataract surgery performed by another doctor. I have a history of severe myopia, astigmatism, and lasik surgery 20+ years ago with regression. This likely increased my risk for the complication I experienced which was called phimosis; extensive scar tissue over the implanted lens causing lens dislocation. My original surgeon (a highly regarded Opthalmologist in NJ) recommended no surgery to fix my issue even though I was essentially blind. I was discouraged thinking there was no treatment available. However, I googled for 2 months before finding Dr Rosenthal from an Opthalmology paper. When I came to consult with Dr Rosenthal, I felt a huge relief because he gave me full confidence, hope, and trust that my problem could be treated with surgery. He performed a surgery to reposition the lens (which was contracted due to scar tissue) by dissecting the scar… tissue. By rescuing my lens, I did not need to have an IOL exchange or sutured lens. Then a month later, he did a YAG laser surgery to clear the cloudy membrane behind the implanted lens. My vision has never been better. My life is totally changed since my work uses the laptop all day and I also have more confidence driving. I no longer feel off balance due to vision loss in one eye. I hope this review will help others seek the right doctor and not give up.

Before seeing him I had gone to at least 8 other doctors, none of which could help me. I saw Sd Rosenthal for a consult and 2 surgeries later, there is nobody else i would ever trust with my eye. in fact, i will eventually need one more surgery and i told him that he has to do it before he retires whether i need it yet or not!

I was seen and examined by Dr. Scherk. I thought she was excellent, careful and attentive. Not a bit hurried. One suggestion: When they call you for your appointment they should tell you that you cannot enter the office and must wait outside until the exact time of your appointment. Also: two people called me and went through the same drill on my list of medications. Not a big deal.

Dr. Rosenthal and his staff are terrific. They always give prompt attention to all my requests.

My name is Jeair Khoshanoff and suffer from Myopic Degeneration. I couldn’t see since I was almost blind. Dr. Kenneth J. Rosenthal preformed a procedure and now I can see! I searched the world for a doctor and no one wanted to help. Dr. Froelich sent me to Dr. Rosenthal and the rest is history. Dr. Rosenthal did an amazing job. 5 stars!!! Terrific office

He listens, then examines. After his diagnosis, you guestion and review possible options. You couldn’t be in better hands. I’m glad I put my health in his hands.
