He was very short and rude with me. Basically told me to live with it because I would be in pain until I die. Would not take time to answer my questions. Had me bawling my eyes out at the end of the 5 minutes in room with him, if even that long. Offered no treatment plan or anything to give me any answers.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sauter’s for 5 years. He has been very compassionate about the issues I face with my job as well as pain. I would highly recommend Dr.Sauter and his nursing staff.

I am just over six months post surgery under Dr. Sauter’s care and doing worlds better than I ever imagined! At the beginning of this year I found out that I had a Grade 4 Spondylolisthesis in my lumbar spine. After seeing a chiropractor and my general physician, I was referred to Dr. Sauter. He was very thorough, taking multiple tests before proposing a plan of action. In the end, we decided that a spinal fusion was my best option. This can be a very invasive surgery with a lengthy recovery period, but he prepared me well for what I would encounter. I am happy to say that just 6 months later I am doing wonderfully and living relatively pain-free! The scar has healed wonderfully, which is nice since it had to be a lengthy incision for a multi-level fusion. As others have said, Dr. Sauter is direct and efficient, meaning he can come off a bit abrupt at times. But if you can look past the lacking bedside manner I don’t think you will regret it because his results speak for themselves!

I had surgery on my neck 4 years ago due to herniated discs. I had 3 discs replaced by man made discs and have had absolutely no issues since. It had gotten so bad that my arm was going numb. Dr. Sauter was very kind and thorough. I am having issues with my back at this time and have returned to his office to get treatment and possible surgery for that. The staff have been very considerate and helpful. Dr. Sauter, is again, very kind and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone.

In the exam room, the previous patient's medical records, on a clip board, were left on a table. I could see the name and type of insurance on the first page. When the doctor came in the room, I told him and he immediately got up and took it to a nurse. when he came back, he didn't ask any questions, did a quick exam of arms and neck to see where I had pain (shoulder) and said he felt the pain was from the shoulder and not the cervical spine. He ordered an X-ray and we went to front desk to set up that appointment. He seemed in a hurry. Practice is very, very large. I would not use this doctor or the practice again because they don't seem to have time to fully evaluate a patient.
