Dr. Kevin Edward Elder, MD

Dr Elder cured my plantar fasciitis with PRP treatment. He's an excellent sports medicine doctor who listens. I tried numerous podiatrists before being referred to him, all seeming to have the same agenda of custom orthodics and none appearing interested in what actually had to say. Dr Elder's staff is also extremely friendly and professional.

I have been fortunate to be under the care of Dr Elder on two occasions in the last three years for PRP injections for knee pain. The procedure was not only highly effective, I found he and his staff to exceed the standards of excellence and quality care.

I posted a comment soon after the treatment ( one stem cell injection and one PRP injection ) and am following up some weeks after that prior positive comment....the results have been miraculous to me, a 74 year old male. I could not walk but a minimum distance without pain before the injections and now can play competitive singles tennis including tournaments, dance , and can easily bike 25 plus miles though feel I could do 50 or 60 no problem .

Dr Elfer is a great doctor. I have been his patient for years. I have recently completed PRP treatments. Besides being a skilled physician Dr Elder really cares for his patients. He asked questions, he listens. He makes me feel comfortable. Also he is very timely. I never have to wait in the office.

At 67 years old, I thought it would be a good idea to paint the interior and exterior of my house I bought in The Villages. After that, I decided to build a coffered ceiling in our living room...all this took about a month and put my shoulder into such a state that I could not raise my arm above horizontal...pain was constant. My great grandfather and my grandfather were both doctors and I was moved to do my own research and decided after three referrals (one from a nurse) that had the procedure (PRP) performed by Dr. Elder and checking out a second opinion from a doctor in The Villages, I had one PRP injection in my shoulder by Dr. Elder. I had put off my treatment for about eight months, I had it done on a Friday. Three days later (after overcoming the 48 hours of pain) on Monday, I played golf... Great results...absolutely no pain after about a week. Thirteen years ago, I had an Orthopedic Surgeon try to get me to get a knee replacement...I avoided doing that, and (for the… last two years especially), I lived with sometimes excruciating pain in my knee. When I first went in to see Dr. Elder for my shoulder, he X-rayed my knees after I told him my right one was painful almost all the time. I elected, after the results were so favorable on my shoulder, to have Dr. Elder perform his recommended BMAC on my knee. It has been six weeks and I have been completely..100% pain free in my knee for the last five weeks...I just had a PRP booster shot into my knee yesterday...I have been playing golf 3-4 times a week...snooker and billiards at least three times a week and dancing with my wife at least once a week at our squares that have live music nightly. I am careful with my knee ( avoiding extreme pickleball) but I am absolutely feeling blessed that I chose Dr. Elder for my treatments. I need to comment further that even though my insurance would not pay for my treatments (although they were willing to pay for a $20,000 new knee), The other quotes I received from lesser qualified doctors were $2,500 higher for these treatments.

I saw Dr. Elder today and he was empathic, professional, and exceeded my expectations. He is a rock star and our community is lucky to have him. The office was efficient and I highly recommend him for sports related injuries.

This practice is awful. You are not a patient, you are a number. That is all. Stay away!
