I was referred to Dr. Desai from my GP for my colonoscopy. I received excellent very professional care by Dr. Desai and his office team from the initial visit, pre-op prep and the actual procedure.

Dr. Desai is a knowledgeable and caring physician. I started seeing him after my GI condition was not properly managed by another local GI. Since switching care to Dr. Desai, my condition is in remission and I have resumed a normal routine. I am glad I switched my care to Dr. Desai. Highly recommend him.

Desai released me from my preventative colonoscopy, covered 100% by my health insurance, with no issues. He then decided to bill me for some made up charge. My ins carrier called his office to verify I do not owe anything, everything is covered. He still continues to send me bills, and now forwarded to collections. Unsure how a Dr can just make up a charge bc he feels like it, after telling me everything is okay. He is not trust worthy. AVOID this cheating scam artist.

I’m so grateful that my primary Dr recommended Dr Desai. He is one of those Drs that asks great questions and helps you understand his recommendation on next steps. He is also very comprehensive in how he addresses health in general and individual health concerns. I found him to be very knowledgeable on gastro and related - and even sometimes seemingly unrelated health issues - and overall very supportive. I’m really surprised by some of the more negative comments, and am wondering if this is simply people that don’t like that he follows up and holds you accountable for the actions that you need to take to improve your health - whether that’s cutting back on certain foods, adding something into your diet, or following up with a specialist in another area that could be related. I have seen Dr Desai for a few different concerns over the years and he is such good Dr that makes sure that improvements happen...but you have to play an active role in your own health people!
