Dr. Leela Sanamme Lavasani, MD

After a diagnosis of thyroid cancer, I was in a very fragile emotional state. After a 2 week wait, I was extremely impressed with both Dr. Lavasani and her PA. The PA came in first and she was excellent, thoroughly explained things to me in a caring and sensitive manner. And then Dr. Lavasani came in. She further eased my mind and I can't say enough about how knowledgeable and patient the two of them were answering all of my questions effectively and compassionately . A thoroughly efficient appointment, making the most out of the doctor's time and mine. Highly recommend Dr. Lavasani!

Sentinel lymph node dissection messed up by dr.lavasani and staff refused to allow me an appointment as they told me the winged scapula and neck paralysis were "normal." Considering legal action.

Not sure how people even give any stars for Dr. Lavasani. I finally got a chance to see her after two years trying. She spent less than 5 min in the room with me and stayed a good distance away. Never examined my ears, nose or throat. Only delivered her assistant’s report that I might have a brain tumor which affected my hearing loss. I was in shock and disgusted with the way she delivered the news. She rushed out of the room after her announcement. However I did follow up with her prescription and get an MRI. Now, a week later I am still waiting for my results. Called the office twice only got recordings. How a doctor like Lavasani still practice medicine?!

Excellent experience with Dr Lavasani preforming my Surgery. Kind caring and very informative in her field.

I brought my son because he failed his hearing test. She put tubes in his ear in 2017 and they are still in. I wanted to ask her questions and bring up my concerns as to why the tubes are still in his ears. She rushed me out to get an appointment for a hearing test. I basically just went in for her to just look at my son’s ears and pay 75 copayment for 10 minutes of her time. When I asked her if she will remove the tubes she didn’t give me a straight answer. He has had those tubes in for over 4 years .

Don't get me wrong. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. With that said. She botched a simple surgery to remove a small cyst and the cyst is back. She doesn’t want to accept that she messed it up. She is asking me to find another doctor for a follow up surgery. I tried to have a second surgery by different doctors, but no one wants to touch her mistake and they tell me to go back to your original doctor. Oh well, now you know who my original doctor is and how she operates.

Excellent experience. The office personnel were professional,;our appointment was on time; Dr Lavasani was warm, interested, involved and professional. The appointment was for me, but my husband was so impressed that he made an appointment to see her, as well. We will return and consider her our ENT specialist in Naples. Well done.

My first time visit with Dr. Lavasani was the best visit I ever had with a Doctor. Dr. Lavasani was caring, compassionate , warm, listener, Made you feel so wonderful and explained everything. She is brilliant, Does not rush, great eye contact, and listens and hears what and how you feel. I wish Dr. Lavasani was my Dr. for everything. I trust her whole heartedly. Muy complacida con la doctora Lavasani...me trato desde la primera cita hasta la ultima con mucho cariño;profesionalismo y paciencia..tuve la dicha de k me operara de la paratiroides y fue excelente...feliz de haverla conocido y se la recomiendo como doctora ;tambien atendio a mi hijo de los oidos e igual lo trato con mucho amor...gracias Doctora es un gran ser humano y muy brillante en su profesión
