From my first consultation with Dr.Bowen I felt confident in my surgery. He made the right call with repairing with my hamstring. He is very nice and patient. I really would recommend him to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Bowen. He repaired my right rotator cuff from a ski injury and removed a bone spur from 25 years of playing tennis and paddle that did not show up on the MRI. He repaired my rotator and removed my bone spur. Today I am completely pain free and have full extension of my right arm. My shoulder is better than ever with no visible scar. I am so pleased with the results!

23 years later and 5 surgeries with Dr. Bowen and I am still playing competitive Ice Hockey. Ego's are large in the Sports Medicine space, and the first time I met Dr. Bowen, I knew immediately that he checks his at the door and provides the honest guidance and incredible skill needed on a surgery journey. The outcome of every surgery exceeded my expectations and repaired my damaged joints (knees/shoulder) with longterm return on investment. After my recent shoulder repair my wife commented that women must love him as you cannot see the scars where he made the repairs. You cannot find a more experienced orthopedic knee and shoulder surgeon. You would be making a mistake to see anyone else in Chicago.

From the first day I met Dr Bowen at my consultation to his bed side manner post surgery, I felt at ease with his confidence and trust of repairing my ACL tear. Dr. Bowen made the necessary surgery recommendations and made suggestions as if he was caring for a member of his family. I'm thankful to have found such a well skilled surgeon and appreciative for his knowledge!

Dr. Bowen has fixed a torn meniscus in both of my knees. I was off the pain meds the first day after surgery and back to full mobility after a short amount of PT.

I had a full rotator cuff tear with my bicep literally hanging on by threads. While it was a fairly obvious diagnosis once into the surgery he found more damage than the MRI had shown including a badly torn bicep which he completely fixed to perfection. Everything was thoroughly explained to me before, during, and after the surgery. He actually went the extra mile to take extra precautions to respect my tattoos. Everything healed up better than ever with no noticeable scarring and my tattoos look flawless! I actually healed up so quickly the Dr, his staff, and the physical therapist's were astonished at my recovery! Highly recommend Dr Bowen!

Dr. Bowen was outstanding from start to finish with my diagnosis, surgery & post op visit! He was even ahead of schedule on all accounts. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the need. His staff was also very attentive as well. I am thankful I was able to have him as my surgeon for my torn meniscus!

Dr. Bowen and his staff were very attentive and considerate of my questions and went out of their way to provide me with the answers in a manner I understood. Dr. Bowen repaired both my shoulders and I have had no issues since. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Bowen is the best. My son had two shoulder labrum repairs and through both surgeries Dr. Bowen made his feel so comfortable and relaxed. Helps a lot with a teenager. He is very calm and could identify with my son and his injuries. Made us all feel welcomed and comfortable with the surgeries he would be performing. His PA's do a fantastic job! Thanks Ashley!
