Mary Louise Coan

I can not say enough about the excellence of care provided by Dr Coan! She goes above and beyond to research issues, explain options of care, and to do all the appropriate testing.

From the very first visit I had with Dr. Coan more than 20 years ago my health has never been more perfect. I enhance her 'natural' health methods of all kinds and she treats her patients as if they are her family.

Dr Coan is one of the best doctors in the area. Her bedside manner is unparalleled. She has patience for her patients! She makes absolutely sure that everything discussed during the visit is understood. She is always willing to research and go the extra mile to get me and my children on the road to wellness. She deeply cares for our well-being and that is worth it's weight in gold.

Dr. Coan really cares about her patients. She does above and beyond for us.

I am very happy to have Dr Coan overseeing my health care. She is always available to answer any question or concern I have. I never feel rushed at an appt. Dr Coan is very passionate about helping her patients.

Difficult to see Dr Coan except for routine. Staff is cold, and says to go to urgent care or e r. Even when u call 1st thing

Besides receptionist Unfriend liness, I've asked for years to get my sick daughter in keep being told no new patience. Heard this last 5 years despite I call every month and ask everyone when I go in. What is this? Rejecting a very sick person ..may I reccomend she gets a few other doctors to offset and use those for less sick patience. Mary I like very good doctor but this isn't acceptable for a doctors officeex

Dr. Coan is wonderful, her staff, is terrible. Michelle the receptionist is rude, lazy, antagonizing, disrespectful and all around ill-mannered. She makes Dr. Coan look bad. If you can stomach her and her attitude, Dr. Coan is worth seeing, and is b far the best doctor out there. You may have a wait time, but be assured she will take the time you need to treat you as a human being not just a dollar sign.

I was more than pleased with Dr. Coan, about 15 years ago, as an integrative MD> I now feel that as her practice in CS has grown, and she has added an NP, that I rarely see the Doctor. NP is inexperienced and quick to order changes in meds on one hand, and then very consevative in dosing when increased doses are truly needed on the other. It is very difficult to get in to see the doctor unless for a routine visit. There have been times I have been told to go to the emergency room, or urgent care center, when seeing the MD would have been the in the best interest of the patient. Dr. Coan keeps adding on expensive herbal medications, without deleting any others. Realizing I have a difficult medical history, I feel no better now than I did when I first started seeing her. Kathy Lightner is excellent with follow-up calls.
