Dr. Matthew Aaron Bernstein, MD

Dr. Bernstein was professional and caring at the same time. We talked a lot about my injury, a broken bone. I understood his instructions for recovery. Iwould recommend him to friends.

Dr. Bernstein is very professional and friendly. He explained what was happening with my thumb, what options I have for treatment, and what he thought would be the best course of action. He listens and does not rush through the exam.

Knew exactly what my problem was and quickly fixed it. Explained how and why it happened.

I made a appointment and was taken back to the exam room right at the time of my appointment. Waited about 3 or 4 minutes and a assistant came and spoke to me for about 3 minutes, then se t me for xrays . 3 minutes for xrays and back to the exam room where I sat for 45 minutes. The assistant came back and said the doctor was running behind and would I like to get a cortisone shot and be on my way or wait for the doctor? She said he's going to tell me what she just told me about treatment options. I said just give me the shot. The thing is, when I checked in at the front desk , the guy in front of me had the same appointment time with the same doctor? So what they do here is double book but some people won't actually see the doctor unless they want to be inconvenience, if they all want to see the doctor the whole day gets backed up. My insurance is paying for me to see a doctor not his assistant.He doesn't seem to value the patient's time.

Enjoyed meeting dr. Bernstein. He was very thorough and offered sound explanations for my condition. Appreciated that he did not just give me a shot. For the first time in many months of other dr. Visits he listened and gave me great advice.

Quick, efficient, and thorough evaluation of my hand issues by Dr. Bernstein & his staff. He didn’t waste my time. He provided his rationale for his recommendations as well as candid guidance and thoughts on the potential outcomes. I will reserve my final review and whether or not I would refer him and his practice to my friends and family for when my treatment plan is complete. I removed a star only because of administrative issues and delays in getting my initial appointment set up - which has nothing to do with the physician, his team, and their excellent care so far for my physical condition.

I would highly recommend Dr Bernstein. He is very professional and explains everything completely during the consultation. He recommends different courses of action after test results are confirmed. I have been to him for several issues and my son had hand surgery with excellent results.

Dr. Bernstein was very thorough in explaining my medical issue and provided the actions I needed to take for my recovery. He answered all of my questions and was very pleasant during my appointment.

Injury to wrist broken bone explained surgery versus no surgery. I do elect to have surgery but before I can get clearance I have to have information regarding the surgery place, when it will be performed and his fax number. I only have a two week window and with the holidays it’s hard but I will call his scheduling nurse. I have reviewed his website the do and donts before and after surgery for the wrist. The time restraint and scheduling is making me a little nervous as far as a doctor he has not performed the surgery as of yet And to give a complete review that will need to be performed
