Dr. Mayur Chandulal Maniar, MD

Appears to be an excellent doctor however he is never pleasant when he sees me. Doesn't let me ask questions. Said he wrote a script, scolded me for not filling it when he never wrote the script. His nurse is absolutely wonderful.

This Doctor is an excellent and knowledgeable doctor. However he is not very pleasant. He is crabby to me every time I went there. He doesn't let you talk.

Walked in he said here take more drugs didnt ask any questions then got agitated when i ask question.This doc was a complete waste of my time i will never go back to sunrise medical because of this visit.Sorry to say but my opion this doc works for the drug companys and is a waste

Our family has known Dr. Maniar for years. He is an intelligent, kind physician who goes out of his way to help his patients. My father had a life-threatening emergency that he was able to not only quickly diagnose despite insurance-related obstacles, but also connected my father to the resources he needed to take care of his issue in a timely manner and was available every step of the way. I have no doubt that he has done this for many others over the years, and highly recommend Dr. Maniar to anyone looking for a neurologist. He truly did save our father's life.

Dr. Maniar is a Prime Example of horror stories we hear about doctors with No Ethics doing whatever the pharmaceutical reps tell him to do! First visit, Dr just met me and couldn't have had any tests done in E.R. but gave me a huge stack of sample medications to take. 2Months I reported blackouts more frequent he said keep taking pills! SIX Months later and More Blackouts than ever before. Pharmacist showed me side effects and I realized WHY I'm having more blackouts and bloody sores in my mouth sleeplessness and worse! Dr's response: Increase Dosage. Pill Mfg have advertisements all over his office - they're paying him for exposure and he's telling me to take these pills without ANY history, No testing, Side Effects Worse but Increases dosage. Any other Dr can explain WHY this or that treatment effects how and why in your body but Dr Maniar walks in looks at height, weight, blood pressure and walks out without a word. After some Very nice and Very Obnoxious attempts to have some… understanding of my problems I've been forced to accept whomever is paying for promotion, he'll prescribe as ordered for pharmaceutical money. This "doctor" should be in Prison!!

Dr. Maniar is one of the most compassionate doctors I have met in some time. He truly listened to my needs and addressed all of my concerns. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Maniar treated me very professionally. His attention to detail and care were outstanding.

Only Dr to diagnose me. He listens,explains, and research’s if need be. I’ve been with him over 20 years and have not one complaint. He’s my lifesaver!
