Dr. Michael Paul Widick, MD

Dr. Michael Widick did a masterful job on my 1 cm diameter submandibular salivary gland stone. He was able to remove the stone intra-orally, despite it being way back in the hilum. Three other doctors indicated they would need to remove the entire salivary gland and stone via external surgery into the neck (old school approach), greatly increasing the risk of nerve damage, leaving a nasty scar, and leaving me without a functioning submandibular salivary gland on that side. I can’t thank Dr. Widick enough! Not only did I recover fully within a week, have no nerve damage, but I can tell following the recovery that I also retained a fully functional salivary gland on that side! Dr. Widick’s years of experience and research into this technique have resulted in a highly successful approach others don’t even consider or have the training to do. Initially I was fearful of such surgery (any surgery, really), but I would go back to Dr. Widick in a heartbeat for other needs. He was amazing in… how he clearly and patiently explained and demonstrated to me what my condition was and what the procedure he recommended would involve. And indeed, I got that outstanding result! I am pleased beyond words!

I had my deviated septum fixed by Dr. Michael Widick two marches ago. When I was seven years old, I broke my nose, and I have not been able to breathe out of the left side because of my deviated septum was so bad. 51 years later, I went to see Dr. Widick. He not only explain to me what was wrong, but how he was going to go about fixing it for me. He not only fixed it, but exceeded my expectations, I can now breathe out of both nostrils at the same time! I would highly recommend him if anybody else is suffering with this problem he is amazing!

Dr. Widick has been amazing! He was able to solve many of the sinusitis challenges I faced, and he’s been attentive the entire time!

I had a problem with pain in my right ear and jaw for years. Dr. Widick suggested I get an NTI device to wear to keep me from clinching my teeth while I sleep and that this would help my problem. My Dentist did not agree with this treatment and he mad made me a device to sleep in that did not help. After tolerating this pain for too long, I took Dr. Widick's advice and went to the Dentist he referred me to and had the NTI device made. My pain subsided to almost nothing overnight! I wear it every night and I am so happy I finally took Dr. Widick's advice. I actually apologized to him that I did not take his advice sooner. I highly recommend the NTI device for those with TMJ pain!!

Dr Widick diagnosed a dangerous medical condition that was resolved through 2 procedures & excellent surveillance to assure that the condition has not returned . I have always received professional & reasoned care that I have great confidence in .

Dr. Widick performed sinus surgery several years ago with no complications and made nose breathing easier. More recently, fixed my deviated septum and broken nose. Excellent results in breathing and in appearance. My nose would make Hollywood stars envious!

I took my elderly mother to see Dr Widick when she was visiting me from S.C. several months after thyroid surgery. Her vocal cords were paralyzed from the procedure and she was suffering from choking and coughing spells that were quite scary as well as a major voice change. Her surgeon in S.C. told her to just wait to see if it gets better. Dr. Widick was very compassionate and suggested having her vocal cord injected with a filled to move it in a more comfortable position. He was able to schedule her for the following week for a 30 minute procedure that has completely ended my mom's suffering. No more choking or coughing spells and her voice has returned to normal. We are so thankful for Dr. Widick and my mom will continue to see Dr. Widick should the need arise.
