Dr. Nasrin Ejtemaee, MD

I'm a military wife, so I've been to tons of doctors. By far, Dr. E is my favorite--I can get appts easily, her staff will process referrals quickly, & she really cares. Don't be turned off by the decor--Dr. E. is a fantastic doctor!!!

Dr. Ejtemaee has been my primary care physician for the past NINE years. She is a fantastic doctor. I trust her implicitly. Her office staff have been with her for a long time and know most of her patients by first name! Dr. Ejtemaee gives her patients her CELL PHONE number to call in an emergency. She spends as much time as is necessary with each patient - which means that there tends to be a wait of about 30 minutes in her waiting room. It is worth waiting for her - you will get the same attention and care that was given to the patient before you when she calls you back to the examination room. I've found Dr. Ejtemaee's approach to diagnosis to be refreshing, accurate and conservative. She's not going to throw medicine at you if that isn't really what you need. She's honest. This isn't a glitzy office, but her care is first rate. I would not trust my health or that of my daughter to anybody else and have recommended her to many of my friends - all of whom are VERY happy to now… call her their doctor too.

Beware of doctors with a medical degree from a foreign country, especially Iran! This particular office is understaffed with a long wait time for an appointment. The majority of patients in the office were from Iran and most likely preferred a a doctor fluent in Farci. Most doctors have an adequate nursing staff to conduct blood tests, lab work, etc., yet Nasrin has very few if any support staff, and hence had to conduct all lab work by herself increasing the wait time even further. More importantly, her office never contacted me after the tests to let me know the results, not surprising at all. The item that garners the most attention is Nasrin's thirty year old medical diploma from a university in Iran. I can trust the merit of a medical degree from a third world, oppressive country about as much as a used car salesman on PCP. Don't choose this doctor!!
