Dr. Shami treated me over a period of five years that included replacing a lens and implanting two corneal grafts. She is a concerned doctor and showed sensitivity throughout the treatment period. She shared information with me every step of the way. I have complete trust in her ability as a surgeon. I highly recommend this doctor for lens and corneal surgery.

Dr. Shamie is quite simply, the cat's pajamas. Millennials ... look that up. She possesses extraordinary technical skills alongside a bedside manner that relaxes anyone with a shred of anxiety. After being diagnosed with a rare corneal disorder, I set about finding a specialist with a stellar reputation. After a brief consultation, she consisely detailed my options, expedited my ensuing procedure, then provided unwavering follow-up. She's insanely cool and knows her stuff.

I cannot begin to express how much I respect Dr. Shamie at ADVANCED VISION CARE. Three years ago I had no idea what was affecting my sight. After an exhaustive research on doctors around the country I called Dr. Shamie who saw me the next day, immediately diagnosed my condition and advised me to have cataract removal and corneal transplant in my left eye; which I did. This is the only review of a doctor I've ever written but after laser and cataract surgery with Dr. Shamie, I feel obliged to. She really changed my life. Within a day after quick and painless surgery, my severely near-sighted, astigmatic, and far-sighted (last due to age) vision was nearly 20/20 - something other doctors had said was impossible and I hadn't had since age 8. Dr. Shamie is not only an excellent doctor and surgeon but also extremely informative as well as extremely nice.

Dr. Shamie is the best eye doctor i have come in contact with. I have had eye problems for over 15 years and she is the first to correctly diagnose my problem and performed surgery needed. The best patient advocate I have ever come in contact with. What she does is her calling not just a job/profession. Simply the best!
