Dr. Norma G Quijada, MD

IF I HAVE TO WAIT FOUR HOURS WITH THAT REPETITIVE, LOUD, VIDEO PLAYING AND THE OBLIVIOUS HELP, ALWAYS MUNCHING ON SOMETHING AND NOT ANSWERING THE PHONES NO MATTER WHAT THE EMERGENCY, I WILL WALK AWAY FOREVER. MY PATIENCE IS COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED AND I NEED TO SANITIZE MYSELF FROM THAT DISGUSTING, GLOOMY WAITING ROOM. " DID THE DOCTOR ARRIVE YET?"

The wait time is ridiculous, you wait a minimum of 2 hours every time and then they wonder why your blood pressure is elevated. I find that totally unacceptable. The waiting room is deplorable, dirty, small, I can go on and on. As for her care, she is wonderful, when you finally get in to see her,

Doesn't listen and seems very disorganized. Waiting room is the worst I've ever been in: it's way too small. It is impossible to get in touch with this office; even when it is very important, you will not get a return call.

My doctor retired, so somehow Dr. Quijada became my doctor. I went there yesterday for the first time. I waited over two hours to see the doctor. First I was called in to this woman who took my history and medical information. She never introduced herself to me, so I had no idea who she was. She could have been Quijada for all I knew. Then I was sent back to the tiny waiting room. twenty more minutes went by when I was called in to be examined. Another woman interviewed me, she also did not give me her name, so again I had no idea who she was. When I asked she said she was not the doctor but her assistant. When the doctor finally came in she spent a total of three minutes with me.She barely listened to my heart and lungs. When examining my thyroid she told me to swallow, she took her hands away before I could swallow. Then she left the room. Almost a three hour wait for three minutes! And this was my first visit with her! There were other doctors in the building, and this tiny waiting… room. We were packed in like sardines, with people who were clearly irritated with the wait. This was a poor first visit with a doctor. I think I will find another doctor

I have been trying to contact ANYONE in the office for two days now, just to find out when my scheduled appointment is. I have sat on the phone for well over 1 hour each and every time, only to NEVER have anyone come back. Worst mistake she very made was partnering with WNY Medical. the lack of efficiency is deplorable SINCE.

After seeing FIVE Endocrinnologists, Dr. QUijada is the ONLY doctor who listened to me, was non judgmental, and was accurately able to diagnose me properly.

First off, the office staff is rude, unprofessional, and down right ignorant! I have personally witnessed the "mocking" of patients after they leave the office. I also have been the victim of a very ill-prepared secretary who will screw up your appointments then charge you a $40 no-show fee after she screws up your appointment, then you get to see the "doctor" who cant keep her personal life to the side long enough to explain your test results! When the patient has to tell the "doctor" to look at the results of each and every test that was taken, there is a problem! Save yourself the trouble and STEER CLEAR! of this entire situation!!!! It is a sinking ship that will soon be underwater!

Best Endocrinologist around! I know because I've been to 3 others in the W.N.Y. area, and they were just awful. Dr. Quijada is warm, caring, compassionate, and she really listens to what you tell her. Some people complain about the wait time, but considering the amount of time she spends with each patient, it all evens out. I would rather wait 45 min.s to an hour for a really GOOD Doctor, than be rushed in and out by, one a whole lot less competent. 4 star rating for the good Doctor ( I would have rated her higher, if there had been more stars.) I would, and have recommend her , many times. :)

Have been a patient for over 10 years. Her staff And Dr. Q are very knowledgeable about diabetic treatment. Have my HA1c down around 6.5 consistently, yes ocassionally have to wait, but the staff has always been courteous and friendly. Dr. Q herself never rushes the patient or is never impatient. Always up to date with my other specialists appointments. I personnally thought the P.A. she has hired was as qualified as any of them I have been treated by.
