Owen Kieran, DO

Owen R. Kieran, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon with Mid-Florida Surgical Associates, now proudly affiliated with AdventHealth. He has more than ten years of experience providing surgical care in hospital and community settings. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed residency training in general surgery at Saint Barnabas Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Kieran previously practiced with Mid-Florida Surgical Associates in Ocoee, Florida; Osceola Surgical Associates in Poinciana, Florida; and Archbold Medical Group / South Georgia Surgical Associates in Thomasville, Georgia. He also served as a general surgeon and clinical instructor at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas, and deployed as a forward surgical team surgeon in Afghanistan while serving as a major in the United States Army.
