Dr. Padma Bala Hari, MD

I want to express my extreme disappointment with WakeMed cardiologist, Dr. Padma Hari. I went to Dr. Hari last week and she recommended a stress test. After the appointment, when I arrived at the receptionist's desk she informed me that the stress test order had not come through yet, but it would be and they would schedule it anyway. I was told to be back in the office today at 9 AM. I arrive at 8:55 AM today and not only I am told that the stress test order has not come through, but no stress tests can be done until the doctor arrives at 11 AM. They ask me to wait in the office all day until the afternoon at which time they can see me. I drove an hour round trip for that appointment. I took off from work, and I moved work appointments around so that I could be present and on time. Treating patients as if their time is unimportant is unacceptable.

Dr. Hari spent a lot of time with us going over mom’s history and meds. She was clear and concise about her thoughts and recommendations and put together a plan of action to get mom back to healthy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hari
