Went to see Dr. Michell concerning known cataract (Lens) concerns. The initial work up was extensive and the staff were excellent. Next up was a consultation with Dr. Mitchell. Dr. Mitchell is extremely well versed in cataract surgery (having done over 3000). He fully explained what cataracts really were in an understandable manner. Dr. Michell was energetic, Friendly, yet professional, and made feel at ease. I had the surgery on Thursday times 2 ( one week after the other - you know - 2 working eyes). My sight was acutely better after each surgery - mine within a day of each surgery event). While anesthesia was involved, the patient stays aware (not to worry as there is no pain and you can’t really see what is going on during the procedure.). Surgery staff were great and tell you what’s going on before it goes on. Dr. Mitchell is great as is the clinic as a whole.. I’d go back but probably will be having my dirt nap before I ever need cataract surgery again (I’m 77 so…….).

You are in caring, very capable hands when you trust Dr. Paul Mitchell and his staff for your eye care. My cataract surgeries lacked stress and anxiety from start to finish. The staff communicated exactly what's was going on at each step and Dr. Mitchell's soft, calm voice as he explained each part of my procedures during both surgeries was very reassuring and calming. I would trust the doctor and his staff to care for me if I ever need additional surgical eye care.
