Excellent ,professional ,caring Doctor and amazing staff. Only regret is that I didnt meet her years ago when I started having Prostate problems.

Dr. Cheetham is capable of being a good doctor but, as others have noted, she can be both charming and terribly abrasive. (eg. She spends a great deal of time emphatically rambling off her achievements, rather than simply demonstrating her competence by running a professional practice.) The office and staff seem over-extended, which doesn't help with scheduling and feedback. Not recommended.

Unfortunately for me it took a diagnosis of Prostate Cancer to meet her.She is the ultimate professional. Attentive, caring, knowledgeable Doctor. A real life T.V. Doctor. Explains issues; does illustrations; and listens to my concerns .The entire staff is on the same level also. Better yet, She provides contact information if needed, assuring that concerns don't disappear into the ETHER.It certainly is not the quick IN/OUT BURGER UROLOGY Office. Glad I now found her.

arrogant. I went to her because I was pregnant and had a chronic UTI. Not only she diagnosed me WITHOUT looking at the medical records I presented her, she also told me I would for sure lose my baby if I didn't have a procedure she had to do on me, while pregnant!!! I left her office shaking in anger and told her front desk to burn my file. I waited to give birth and I wrote my review. Baby was fine all the way plus another urologist was STUNNED as why she would say I would lose my baby. I should have reported her. Only curses come to my mind thinking of this doctor.

After reading the many comments here, in defense of Dr Cheetham, I have to say she is the best urologist going and I am very grateful for having her as my doctor. This is my story. I first went to Dr. Cheetham in 2017 after having a spine surgery that left me with all the complications with a spine surgery that you can possibly have. I end up with a neurological bladder and bowel system. Fast forward, I became increasingly depressed with bladder urge and infection. My regular urologist kept on giving me antibiotics as well as bladder meds to control both the infection as well as my bladder problem, Nothing worked! I was quickly becoming resistant to antibiotics, almost died twice due to these constant infections and my life was spiraling down, that is until I met Dr Cheetham. She met with me, listened and with through all the test that she could possibly know of until she concluded that her best course of action, due to my condition was a subpubic cath and I am so grateful! The tube… she inserted into my bladder was the best thing that ever happen to me. I have so much more control of my bladder as well as my Life. She, Dr Cheetham is in my opinion the greatest urologist going and I wish their were more doctors like her. As far as her personality she is totally approachable. She listens and she is caring and very sweet.She can like anybody else have her days,but if you can get through that knowing that she is human and we all have our days, you will be very happy that you went to her.

I am no longer going to Dr. Cheetham because I was never quite sure "which of her" I was going to encounter. She can be incredibly charming, funny, and informative when you are new to her practice. (Especially during that "first visit" when you are most likely to find one of these sites and write a review.) However, after a while you will see that she can be quite the arrogant narcissist as your visits become shorter and her questions more perfunctory. Also, she tends to blame her patients for the fact she has over-extended her practice. Her "policies" for reporting on your medical results are particularly lacking in timeliness and empathy. She almost makes it sound like she is doing YOU the favor if Abel eventually sends you an e-mail at 10:00 at night. Her main danger is that narcissists hate to reassess their opinions....so you better hope she gets it right the first time! Finally, I originally went to her because I thought she was a believer in holistic ways to control prostate… issues. Hah! She will hardly ever mention supplements during your visits. Is she sincere? I thought so during my first visit.....but now happy to have her in my rear view mirror!

Dr. Cheetham is highly efficient and competent. She appears to run her office like clockwork and gets things done. Dealing with her you really feel assured that she is on top of it and nothing will slip through the cracks. Somehow, despite the fact that she is very busy and handling multiple things at once, quality doesn't seem to suffer. She conveys experience and self-assurance that put you at ease without crossing the line of an off-putting god complex or arrogance. I owe much of the speed and quality of my care to Dr. Cheetham.

While she was very nice, caring, warm and attentive during my first visit, it all went downhill from there. During my subsequent visits, she looked tired, overwhelmed, even a bit unfocused. I felt like she couldn't wait to get rid of me and move on to the next item on her to-do list. In fact, I felt more like an "afterthought", rather than a patient who is in need of help and attention - always felt rushed and walked away with a bunch of questions unanswered. So I moved on to another doctor and never looked back. Oh and she often contradicts herself...Would not recommend her.

Dr. Cheetham can be an utter delight on your first visit. She’ll smile, laugh, write upside down as she explains things to you, and literally charm your socks off. But wait. As with all malignant narcissists, she will gradually take you for granted and become more terse and arrogant with each successive visit. She is dangerous because she will snap judge your condition and seldom reassess. True arrogance and true narcissism. She will also tell you how terrible your past doctors were. Perhaps worst of all, she will have her staff give low priority in giving you lab results unless you are dying. Superwoman has overextended herself and you become her irritating enemy! Don’t be fooled by her charm. Go to a caring doctor with true EMPATHY. Not a malignant narcissist who fakes empathy!!
