Very rude , not knowledgeable, wrong diagnosis without proper testing. I am in pain and he doesn’t have any empathy or compassion. Please do not make appointment with him, terrible experience

This Dr referred to an gastroenterologist for an endoscopy because I have an ulcer. Also referred to a friend of him to remove stones on my parotids. After that, I had a ct with contrast done indicating I have a lymphoma and tumor in my parotids. Also, he will not do a surgery on my parathyroids even do I have high calcium and HPT for years and I am very symptomatic and heart and kidneys are damaged. Do not schedule any appointments, he is not a good surgeon.

Please be aware read this and don’t risk your life with this doctor. After I discovered I had a mass in my neck and when to this dr office with a CT scan; he requested a biopsy on the same mass that confirmed that I had Cancer. He operated me and removed my whole thyroid and 20 glands. 2 weeks after the surgery I noticed that I still feeling the mass (yes, the one we did previously a CT scan and a biopsy) because he just forget to remove it? He’s answer was that he removed EVERYTHING and that I was completely CLEAN and the only thing remaining was muscles! The same day a nurse from the same institution requested another CT scan and CONFIRMED that the same mass, same location, same position, the one with cancer remains in my neck because Dr Rafael Toro-Serra just forgot to remove it? Beside that he was rude, after the surgery he never spoke with me in my follow up, he’s professional. I ended having a second surgery because of his MALPRACTICE.
