Upon receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer, I was referred to Dr. Croshaw by a trusted family physician. From the very first meeting with him and his staff, I felt confident that I was not alone in this fight, and that I was going to receive the very best care available. Because of his extensive knowledge of this disease, he was able to, first, explain the situation I faced, and then offer a plan of attack. His thoroughness and attention to detail set my fears to rest, and I was able to move forward on a path to become cancer-free. I am now four months out from surgery and I have to agree with Dr. Croshaw...there is life after breast cancer.

Excellent doctor!! Explained my diagnosis and treatment plan throughly. Surgery went smoothly. Exceptional patient care. Reached out to me several times personally post surgery to see how I was doing.

How many bad things can I list? Ignored what I said might be allergic reaction that I was still experiencing from biopsy (performed by different physician). After large incision, sent home while still groggy and in pain.. and told to take Tylenol and ice. The nurses said there was nothing they could do because he didn’t think breast surgery needed more. She also stated someone that worked at the hospital actually wrote a complaint about the same thing. The following day when speaking to him, and still in pain; he repeated that Tylenol and ice should be all that is needed. Developed rash on entire side of body. Went in for appointment. I also had swelling in my feet, ankles and legs. He said it looked like an allergic reaction, but my incision looked okay... and that’s all he treated. If I had any problems to follow up with my primary care physician. Later that day, it continued to get worse.. he said to go to the ER or walk-in. The walk in administered steroids in a shot… and gave me prescription. He called seeing I had gone in. Suggested I come in a few days later. I declined. Why bother when all he cares about was the incision.. and not the actual patient?

Dr. Croshaw is the best doctor ever

Dr, Croshaw came highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed! From the time of my first visit with Dr.Croshaw and his wonderful staff, I felt I was in good hands as evidenced by his plan of action. I received the diagnosis of breast cancer, stage 2 one day and saw him the next. He had a team of other physicians who would be active in my care and made appointments for a first visit. He explained thoroughly what would take place. I loved the fact he was so proactive as well as making sure my family was involved! The combination of professionalism and compassion demonstrated by him and his staff is hard to find and I am so thankful they were found for me!! Dr. Croshaw has been wonderful to work with. He and his entire staff have been so supportive of me over the last few months. He never hesitates to take plenty of time to make sure that all options are discussed and understood -- I have never felt rushed or that he had "somewhere else to be". After my partial mastectomy, Dr. Croshaw told me his office would call and check on me the following day. Little did I expect that he would call personally! I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, thorough and professional surgeon.

I am BRCA1 positive ovarian cancer survivor and had a radial scar. I saw a breast surgeon at a larger local hospital who was all over the map explaining my options and left me with more questions than answers. I saw Dr. Croshaw for a second opinion. He was very thorough and took his time in explaining my diagnosis, latest research, options, the order of how he would proceed and answering my questions. I was at peace going into surgery and it went smoothly. I highly recommend him.
