Dr. Richard Wesley Pectol JR., MD

I went to Pectol when I shattered my wrist. I first met him the day of surgery. Very rude. Never sat down to discuss what he was going to do. The whole time all I could think was, here it is Friday afternoon and I am here with a shattered wrist, not a good time to find another surgeon. I went ahead and had the surgery. After the surgery I was in more pain than before the surgery. I told him this and he told me I would be better. After 2 years of pain and not being able to use my hand I went to Kingsport and saw Dr Marchassault and he found that all the screws were too long and they were through the bone. He removed the plate and screws and the healing began. Do yourself a favor and go to a good doctor. Before I finish I want to tell you about Pectol sending me to their rehab. Sorry I do not remember the girls name but she is the boss. She would give me a task and as I was doing it she would go off and talk to her friends and co workers and than come back and give me something… else to do and walk away again and continue her conversations. She could care less about you. She is just waiting for you to time out. I felt like I was just a bother. Do yourself a favor and go to another rehab place too.
