Dr. Robert Stephen Boretz, MD

Dr. Robert Boretz is a phenomenal surgeon. I needed surgery for a bicep tear and from our very first consultation, he made me feel completely at ease. He explained the procedure, the risks, and what recovery would look like in a way that was thorough but never overwhelming. I went into surgery feeling confident — and that's entirely because of him. His bedside manner is outstanding. He genuinely listens, answers every question, and you can tell he cares about his patients beyond just the procedure itself. Pre-op and post-op care were both incredibly thorough — I always knew exactly what to expect and what was expected of me. The results speak for themselves. My recovery was quicker than I anticipated, and I credit that to his surgical technique and the clear guidance he provided throughout the process. Communication was excellent at every stage, and his team was accommodating with scheduling, which made the whole experience far less stressful. I'm now fully recovered and back to… full strength. If you need a surgeon you can trust — someone who combines top-tier skill with genuine care — Dr. Boretz is your guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I had surgery on my hand for trigger finger last year. My hand is worse now then before even after physical therapy. I haven't been able to work since because i do not have full use of my hand. I do not recommend Dr. Boretz for surgery. No stars from me.

I initially saw Dr. Boretz for a tuft fracture of my middle finger back in 2019. Shortly after I had started to have issues with trigger thumb (right hand) and then gradually started to have issues with De Quervains tenosynovitis in both wrists. I was initially given cortisone injections which would help but due to the amount of typing and playing a musical instrument, a few months later the pain would return. Dr. Boretz did suggest that I think about surgery, but I did not want to go that route. He gave me scripts for Occupational Therapy which were helping but once I really started to use my hands for laborious work they acted up. The last cortisone shot helped but once again the pain returned with a vengeance... I returned to his office for help and schedule surgery for both trigger thumb release and De Quervains release to be done at the same time. I tried to put it off as long as I could but it had gotten to the point where it was unbearable. The surgical center was very nice, … his PA Jody Kunkle was there during the procedure and both handled my post-surgical follow-up visits. Dr. Boretz and his entire staff are very caring, patient and I cannot thank them enough. I should have listened to him and had the surgery done sooner.

Was referred to him by other people in the medical profession and from personal friends, this is absolutely the guy to see if you need hand surgery . Dr. Boretz MD and staff answered all my questions and made me very comfortable with having surgery. Day after surgery the surgical center called to check on me, the doctor called to checked on me and his office called to check on me. Nothing short of world class service and caring

The entire Staff of Dr Boretz worked seamlessly to provide me with great support , scheduling help for things like pre-surgery covid tests and disability paperwork for consecutive left hand/right hand carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery. They were on top of the major and minor pieces of a complex process, even helping with last minute additional disability paperwork that helped me start getting $ quickly. After the surgeries, Dr Boretz called me to see how I was doing followed up by calls from the surgery center and the office. What a refreshing experience in healthcare.

Dr. Boretz did my double carpal tunnel surgery recently. From going into the office for appointments, the surgery and post surgery, he has been nothing but helpful. He is very professional kind and truly cares about his patients. I have felt like I am in the best hands possible. All of the staff at his office are kind and helpful as well!

I had a very rare case regarding the deformed bone structure of my right collar bone. I went to several doctors to seek options. Every other doctor rejected my case and said that I should just live with it. However, Dr.Boretz was very knowledgeable confident in taking on my case and the results from the surgery were successful. I am so grateful to have had Dr.Boretz as my surgeon
