The past 3 visits have been very frustrating. They double book appointments so you wait and wait. Last time patients overflowed the waiting room and were sent to the building’s lobby. There I waited a half hour before even checking in! On a recent visit I left after 3:40 without being seen by the dr, my appointment was 1:20. He is a nice guy and competent, but I am fed up with my time being disrespected. The staff seems to have high turnover since there are new faces every few months. If I arrive on time I am respecting the dr why can’t the dr respect my time?

I was referred by a dermatologist as my concern also involved my eyelid. The receptionist wouldn't allow me to make an appointment and went on to explain the difference between a dermatologist and an opthamologist. She was so condescending and disagreeable I gave up trying to see the doctor

Dr Margolis does an exceptional job of calming a situation with his thorough explanation of his findings. His personal kindness and generosity are outstanding.

I suffered a detached retina. Dr Margolis saw me after hours and expedited the schedule for my procedure and got it done right away. His bedside manner was excellent, and he answered all my questions. I'm sure results vary depending on the patient, but my vision was completely restored. He was very careful with follow up and watching my other eye. He seems to be a very gifted doctor and I will be forever grateful for the care he gave me.
