Dr Gardner & his PA John helped me when on other Dr could He & his staff took care to diagnose my nerve problem when other doctors just wanted to prescribe medication He is the best orthopedic dr I have been to in the area I would give him 5 stars

Dr. Gardner did my TKR surgery with outstanding results. As an RN with a masters degree in nursing, I can honestly say based on my experience, you would be extremely happy to have Dr. Gardner do your surgery.

I am permanently disabled because of two botched surgeries by Dr. Hodge on 11/15/22. I went in for routine right hip replacement and he overextended the sciatic nerve and left me in the surgery center under anesthesis for about 9 hours (with nerve under pressure the entire time). I stopped breathing and almost died from cardiac arrest. He went in and had to replace the hip with a smaller version but there was no hope for recovering from dead nerves and drop foot and numb right leg. Anemia from severe blood loss. He did not prescribe an anticoagulant, so 3 weeks later I passed out from blood clots in my chest and a DVT in my right leg which broke off and went to my lungs. Cardiac issues and pulmonary issues. An emergency thrombectomy saved my life. They did a lot of covering their tracks rather than properly treating me.

Money oriented

Feel like another number. Takes forever to get insurance department to authorize procedures (when not required by Medicare)and nobody ever returns your calls regarding billing.

I'm currently a patient and wish I had chosen another Dr. The most frustrating thing about this practice is that they schedule you, then when you need follow up (MRI) they run your insurance ( takes a week) call you back to schedule (another week) then another week to see the Dr for a mere 3 minutes!!!!????? Seriously????? OMG I am so frustrated sitting around waiting for results and trying to heal. I am currently going through a series of shots every 2 weeks and I go in, get a needle then go. No clue when I'll ever see the Dr again! And to add insult to injury they misquoted the $ for the shots and thankfully when I went in the assistant switched by mistake the two numbers so the price was lower in my favor. I dont know who or what Dr's these other people saw and how they gave it a 5 star rating but this is my current situation and I needed to let others know.

I have a shoulder fracture, and I have found Dr. Gardner very informative and courteous. The same applies to his staff
