Dr. Roy Joseph, MD

Over the course of a better half of the last decade Dr. Joseph and staff have been by my side through the ups and downs of my health journey. Never stopping to find the answers. They have become closer to family over the years. They've seen me at my absolute worst. They've been my support mentally and emotionally. I trust them with my life as they have fought tirelessly for me and have given me my independence back. Dr. Joseph is in the business of resolution AND prevention. I've listened to him (albeit stubbornly at times) and have gotten healthy because of his knowledge, and now I intend to stay healthy because of his preventative care. We don't always like to hear what our doctors have to say about our health and how we might be tending to our own care, but sometimes we really need to hear it in order to be the healthiest we can be. I owe all of my gratitude to this wonderful care team of mine and cherish this relationship we have built over the years. It will be a bittersweet day… when he decides to retire. Out of all the doctors and medical staff that I have dealt with over the course of my disease (20 years), Dr Joseph and his team are the very best of the best. They've treated me with respect and compassion, and they genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients. They call and check on me in between appointments to make sure I am doing well and work tirelessly to find the answers needed. I am so grateful that they are in my life.

Dr. Joseph has saved my life. I had two different surgeries by other surgeon in the Dallas area and both times had complications. The first was a shunt placed in the head. I left the hospital with C-Diff. Dr Joseph monitored the situation on a regular schedule and cured the problem. Recently I had removal of part of my stomach and was released from another physican too early which resulted in many complications. I consiquenty ended up back in a Denton hospital. Thank the Lord I had Dr Joseph as my physician. His vast knowledge of medicine got me back on my feet. That was 3 months ago and due to open stitches he has monitored my healing with fantastic results. Although both times, I was introuble from other physicians surgeries he was there to give medical treatment to restore my health. I can never say enough wonderful things about Dr Roy Joseph and his medical knowledge. Thank you Dr Jospeh

Dr Joseph has worked with us concerning some difficult insurance issues. He has a good, responsive staff. He listens to our concerns and addresses them. He has controlled my husband's intestinal issues.

Dr. Roy Joseph was rude, disinterested, and distracted. He prescribed unneeded medication, didn't listen to what we were telling him regarding the medical issue, played with his cell phone, misread previous test results, and mumbled inconprehensibly. The worst doctor I ever had the misfortune to have contact with. Just terrible. I don't how he stays in business if he treats all patients this way.

I am done with this doctor. I had great hopes for him at first because he cured my nausea within my first few visits. During my visits he often seems bored and annoyed I'm there. He spotted something on my liver two years ago and since then he'd had me get expensive MRI's every six months. When I press him for the outcome he says, "It could be (name horrible life threatening disease) or it could be nothing. Inconclusive." Then he mentioned something showed up on my kidney this year. And same response. This last visit was the deal breaker. Not only did he answer his cell DURING MY VISIT and did not apologize, he chewed me out about my weight outside the exam room. All his staff and patients overheard his loud personal attacks. And to top it all off, his office makes appointments for you! And then calls you two days before reminding about the appointment you never made. Avoid him at all costs.

He is very competent; office staff is friendly and very accommodating. I have been going here for over 4 years and never had a problem. Don't know what all the negative comments are about. I highly recommend this dr.

Excellent doctor. Always spends time with me and answers any and all questions. Followed up personally with a phone call to see how I was after a procedure was done. Excellent office staff. Always nice and friendly. I would recommend him as a doctor. (He is never on time, but I can overlook that. I feel that he provides quality care.)

I have been a patient of Dr.Joseph,s for quite some time spent several MONTHS in hospital in Dallas and came back to Dr Joseph to get back on right track.

I personally do not understand why all of you were so harsh to Dr. Joseph. He was courteous to my family and I through the whole process. I could tell he was looking out for my best interests. Despite the office sometimes being busy, Dr. Joseph always spends the time with me I deserve. Unfortunately sometimes he ends up delaying the whole schedule. He always makes me laugh. He and the office staff make me feel comfortable.
