Dr. Sanjay P Rathi, MD

Caring compassionate doctor who took his time to assess my issues. I had a hard time emotionally dealing with my medical issues and Dr. Rathi showed empathy and had very encouraging words. I felt like he really cared about me as a person.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Rathi for several years and thought the world of him. But over the last year or so, I’ve found a decline in his care. I would be called into his office only to wait 20 minutes while he caught up on his patient cases. He would return calls, and enter patient notes while I was waiting for him. Then he would scramble to get my Botox injection ready which should have been already prepared. There were no review of meds or questions on how I was feeling since my last appointment. I started to feel like a meal ticket and it turned out to be true and a secon opinion confirmed this to be true. I’m truly disappointed in his character which I once thought was admirable.

My mother has been a patient of his for numerous years now and we will be looking for a new doctor. We have found him to be dismissive, abrupt and arrogant. He doesn't really listen to what you have to say and he cut me off in mid-sentence while I was describing my mothers symptoms regarding seizures. He always seems preoccupied with what's going on in and around his office instead of the patient in front of him. He brushed off her concerns and her questions and is neither empathetic or sympathetic. It took everything in my power to not tell him what I thought at her last appointment. Needless to say she will no longer be a patient of his and will not be recommending him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr Rathi for 4 1/2 years. He has been an excellent Dr. who takes time to listen and make sure I am always comfortable with my diagnosis and health he also shows a genuine interest in me as a person. He goes above and beyond any other Dr.

I came to this doctor seeking answers to symptoms that I had had over 10 yrs. no other dr. That I was dealing with would address them since I was diag. With MS. I was told I had fibromyalgia . This doctor did extensive blood tests and reviewed them closely explaining each and everyone.. Wonderful doctor. He is finding the answers that no one else would. I am so thankful I found him.

I enjoy my visits with the doc, however I have not seen him long enough to get a dx yet. So I have rated him according to my experience so far.

Dr. Rathi is my mother's new neurologist. After a very bad run in with ANOTHER doctor, we were referred to him by our PCP. Our first experience went above and beyond our expectations. He took over an hour to listen to what we had to say, showed genuine concern and sincerity while dealing with my mother who has Dementia (at a younger age then most people for an on-set of this disease). You can tell that he is a true professional, and will do whatever he can to help you. I am so glad that we were referred to him and I look forward to future visits. Thank you Dr. R

Dr Rathi is the most thorough neurologist I've seen over the past 10yrs & I've seen many! He also has the best personality of all the docs I've seen:) very caring and shows genuine concern even if that concern can be a PITA;) JK. I am very grateful to have found a doctor as down to earth, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring as Dr Rathi! Thanks for everything!

He really takes the time to listen. I personally think that he is a brillant doctor. I have two serious neurological diseases and he has handled both of them efficiently and effectively. I am doing very well, better than the average person with these dx for ten years! I truly could not have done this well without his support.
