Dr.Kestin is compassionate and treats her patients with kindness and she follows up with you when tests have been done. I will miss her terribly when she leaves Young Harris Clinic August 30,2026. I wish her the very best wherever she may go.

Extremely rude staff.

Awful, terrible, rude & condesending! Staff completly follows suit . Incompetent. Doesn't even try to understand you and your life situation causing u problems. The feeling was mutual to leave her never liked her to begin with but she was sent to me while in the hospital for aspiration pneumonia! Don't go here unless you want to be treated like trash. Because quote frankly you stand a better chance of finding a better doctor in the bottom of a garbage pile. Others feel the same. I'm not the only one that can't stand this pompass witch!!!!!

The only helpful people are Kia, and the office manager. When you call in, all you get is attitude unless Kia is speaking. My prescription was changed without me knowing, and the dr doesn't know, neither does any of the staff. The dr doesn't even call back, even after promising to. Never even followed up with me. Office hours aren't really convenient, the ONLY reason I chose this dr is because of insurance and location. I would never recommend to a friend. I'm actually in the process of finding a new dr.

The main thing I can say about Dr. Kestin is that her office workers are rude, incompetent and no sence of urgency. Dr. Kestin dosnt explain things when she see's you. She dosnt follow up. Her office workers take forever to do things ...if they do it at all.

Going against some nursing friends, I decided to give Dr. Kestin a chance, and for a few years, she seemed to provide care for my blood pressure, until... This year after an employment exam from the company I was going to work for, the medical director for that company asked me why I did not disclose that I had a cholesterol prooblem on my medical history. I told him, I did not have a cholesterol problem and had no idea that I did. he asked me to contact my primary care physician (Dr. Kestin) and ask her to respond to an email about the cholesterol issue. In an appointment shortly thereafter, I was told by her nurse practioner that Dr. Kestin did not feel she could provide me with the services that a doctor should, and that I needed to find a new doctor. Here is the kicker, Dr. Kestin had blood work drawn up on me twice, and both times according to my medical chart, showed I had high cholesterol and both times I was never contacted to be prescribed the medicine to help me bring it… down. It took the Patients Advocates Office to tell them to contact me and give me the answers I needed concerning this cholesterol issue and in speaking (not with Dr. Kestin) with an office staff member, while reading directly from my medical chart, Dr. Kestin's office said that my cardiologist was supposed to discuss the cholesterol issue with me and that it should be my cardiologist to prescribe the cholesterol medication to me. I was very upset, because none of this was communicated to me, nor did that recommendation show in my records, so how was I supposed to know. This doctor may not feel that a cholesterol issue is worth discussing with her patient, but when you are taking several different kinds of medication and your have a cholesterol issue, then it is your physician's responsibility to help keep you healthy by prescribing medication for a medical issue like high cholesterol. The worst part is that the cholesterol was 270 - 280. I would not recommend Dr. Sharon Kestin to anyone looking for an Internal Medicine doctor, trust me, you will see her nurses more that you see her, and why have your insurance pay for her services when she doesn't even see you. Do your homework and check with your "nursing friends" for two or three good recommendations. They work closely with these doctors in the hospital, so they would be a great reference point !!!
