Dr. Sohail Asfandiyar, MD

I had been ill with pancreatitis for almost five weeks. I was at wits end. I made an appointment with Dr. Soleil Asfandiyar. I had a list of medical problems to speak with him about. I didn’t even get to the list because of his caddy remarks. When he walked in I was tearful because of nausea and pain and while trying to explain my problems I started crying. He wasn’t in there but three minutes and told me, “I need to go see a psychiatrist for my tears!!!” I was absolutely stunned and shocked. I couldn’t believe what he said and he repeated it!! Told me” I really should go and see a psychiatrist. I told him, “I was 62 years old and I didn’t need to go back to my childhood to talk about tears.” It was an absolute horrible, horrible visit and I would not recommend him whatsoever.

The Dr.'s MA was rude, called me to go back and shut the door and left me in the waiting room not knowing where to go. after asking the receptionist if I go back the MA was waiting at the scale on the other end of the hall like I was an inconvenience for making her wait. the staff was lazy, and didn't even want to copy my medical records that was told to bring with me. The dr was ok, I was more disappointed with staff. Billing dept was horrible and you can NEVER get anyone on the phone. I ended up needing surgery, but it took me calling for days for a nurse to call me back, when it says on the voicemails that all messages left before 3pm will be returned the same day.

Speaks excellent English. Takes time to listen and cares about patients concerns.
