Me parece una falta de respeto el querer desprestigiar la labor médica por intereses creados a costa de mentiras. Definir un sufrimiento como un infierno no implica culpa alguna , lamentablemente toda recurrencia médica implica dolor, sufrimiento para todo el que perece. Sin embargo el pasar de una operación y convertirse en 10 en total, merece reconocer el resultado final , ya que gracias a Dios , la dra y todo su equipo médico el paciente hoy puede caminar, correr y hasta manejar trailer, por lo tanto fueron justas y necesarias cada operación realizada en su momento. ????

Llegué con mi pie entero, sin heridas, fractura de cuatro metatarsos, con inflamación por el trauma, me asignaron a la Dra. Sophia Deben a través de un “Urgent care”, la mayor desgracia de mi vida y la peor decisión. Lo que se resolvía en una cirugía se me convirtió en 10, tratando de corregir cada error e intentar cortarme el pie sin ningún miramiento, al verla sentía que estaba aprendiendo y daba cuchilla como si estuviera en una carnicería, no le preocupó mi sufrimiento ni dolor (no así para algunos pacientes), me saturó el pie de metales en exceso, 23 tornillos y 4 láminas, lo cual tiende a tener dificultad para la irrigación sanguínea, la soldadura de los huesos y la cicatrización; con 16 tornillos sobraba para alinear los metatarsos y evitar cualquier complicación. Me puso un yeso que me comprimió el pie y terminó necrotizando la piel. Desconoce de los procedimientos a seguir en las distintas situaciones y cuando la confrontas sale con escusas o se altera y te manda a callar. El… pie literalmente se me empezó a podrir y comenzó a extenderse por todo mi cuerpo. Tuvieron que sacar hueso de la cadera y carne y piel del muslo para reconstruirme el pie. Meses de sufrimiento en una cama donde tenía casi una cirugía por mes, eso me trajo otros padecimientos por todo los medicamentos las anestesias generales y el trauma psicológico. No lleva en memoria el historial de sus pacientes y en las consultas tienes que recordarle o rectificarle lo sucedido en cirugías o citas anteriores. Y no hablo solo por mí, conocí a varios pacientes y piensan igual que yo, un desprestigio para una profesión tan humana que personas como ella la corrompen. Conozco veterinarios que hacen mejores trabajos y tratan mejor a los animales. Pésima doctora, no sabe tratar con clientes y menos con pacientes, no tiene preocupación por estos, no permite que la cuestionen. Muy mala ética médica y laboral de la cual parece que no tiene conocimiento del “Juramento Hipocrático” Como especialista sus conocimientos dictan mucho que desear.

I fell at work and Dr. Deben did my ankle surgery. She was competent, compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. She explained everything that she was doing and answered all of my questions. Her staff is definitely the best. Definitely recommend her for any surgery needed.

Dr. Deben is amazing. She helped me with foot pain I had been having off and on for 3 years. She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable.

My 82 year old mother went to Dr. Deben with an array of medical issues. Bursitis, Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, and sciatica. My mother is in pain and currently wheelchair bound. While this doctor was very pleasant, she did nothing to help my mother other than refer her to other doctors. Unfortunately, my mother's previous doctor retired. The treatment she was doing was successful with him but Dr. Deben did not consider that an option. She referred her to a "pain management" doctor which is absolute nonsense. There are several options that she could have offered her, but did not offer any. In my opinion, she is useless and this appointment was a total waste of time and money. Maybe if the patient is young and an easy surgery candidate, she would be a good choice. Just not if you're a little older and more high-risk.

Dr. Deben is very knowledgeable, she takes the time to explain everything, she is honest and conservative in her treatment. Surgery is a last resort and if she does have to operate on you, she is a dynamite surgeon! I would highly recommend her.

I waited yrs for a ankle replacement. It appeared that in the last 5 yrs it was a viable option. Then I needed to find the right surgeon. Dr. Deben came highly recommended. I have seen several specialist through the yrs was not impressed with any of them until I met Dr.Deben. She was the only one that said unless we fix the foundation (foot) anything you put on it will fail. Well after reconstruction of my foot then a brand new ankle , I have a new lease on life.i was up and walking after 2 months non weight -baring . The ankle is great. Im glad I waited for the right surgeon. I highly recommend Dr.Deben.

Dr. Deben changed my life in the best possible way with her proper diagnosis and treatment. I've been a dancer my whole life and 15 years ago I suffered from an ankle injury that prevented me from dancing. After that injury, I would have pain and swelling that would come and go but never go away completely. I visited several orthopedic specialists (many of which worked directly with dancers) and I did every treatment possible, from using a casket to therapy, without having a positive outcome. Two years ago the pain and swelling became worse than ever and it prevented me from performing any type of exercise. I then had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Deben who accurately diagnosed that I needed surgery and told me that after a few months of recovery and therapy I would be able to go back to do what I love. Well, a year ago I had my surgery and I'm so happy to say that I'm better than ever. Not only am I doing 2+ hours of daily exercise but a few days ago I became certified as a Zumba… instructor. Thank you Dr. Deben for changing my life in such a positive way, I will be forever thankful!!!!
