Dr. Susan Lorton Boullioun, MD

I called to go see her about my ear / allergies. I did mention I am currently being treated for back pain (spinal fushion, level 3), but on a lighter pain med. regular doctors can give prescriptions for and receptionist freaked out & said I will have to ask the doctor before can make an appointment. Called back to say I also needed to see her before a relative came (do a screening) - and she said doctor would not see me because of my back pain. I said, well, I don't want to see her for my back pain. I have a bad ear and bad allergies at the moment. I am not coming for my back pain, I have some kind of allergy infection and my ear hurts. Receptionist very very rude, or, I would just say not a doctor that sounds like she cares for anyone at all. They were quite rude. Don't advise seeing her. Not worth it.

This receptionist is so rude and mean for no reason what so ever hangs up on you when you call not to mention you have to pick up your own prescription unlike other doctors that send it over. People actually work and can’t just get off to pick up proscriptions having to wait longer then a hour is horrible Susan is so nice, just getting past the front desk is so horrible

Aside from the hour long + wait you have to sit thru until you actually get to see the Dr. Let's talk about how rude the receptionist is. I went into my second appointment after not having had my last since over a month ago, and my first appointment I was paying out of pocket, which I had planned on doing again for my second visit . So as I was checking in I politely asked if medicaid covered the Dr visit. Because since my last appointment I had found out I was pregnant and decided it was a good idea to sign up for Medicaid with all the OBG Dr appointments I knew I would have. When I asked, I got this look like "are u kidding me" . She tells me no immediately and explains "the paperwork you signed last time you agreed to pay out of pocket and said you didn't have insurance." So I tried explaining that I didn't have medicaid then, simple right ? Apparently not, I get this eye roll ( literally) and she ask " what kind of medicaid ?" And I had no idea there were different kinds of… medicaid . ( I've never had government help before , and neither has anyone I know, still learning how medicaid works). She then proceeds to tell me " well I'm gonna have to figure this out since you have no information " and closes the little window in my face . . So I sit down in disbelief of how rude she was . Then she opens the window 5 min later and says In a condescending tone " so you have no idea what kind of medicaid?" I said "no I'm sorry I can try to call and ask." She shuts the window on me again . So I walk over and ring her bell and she opens it and I said " look I'm sorry but I don't know much about Medicaid yet and I have the money to pay out of pocket ." I wasn't aware that if I have Medicaid legally the dr can't charge me out of pocket, which was only explained by the Dr later in the room. Again, dont know this . She then started arguing with me how frustrating I was for not knowing information. To the point of making me have to walk outside and call my husband bawling my eyes out upset. If your job is customer service, you're there to help and answer questions and be of service to the people that pay your freaking salary. I don't need to walk into my Dr.'s office and first person I talk to belittle me and make me feel stupid. If you can't be kind to others , customer service is NOT a field you need to be working in. Not to mention I just had a miscarriage a few days prior to this appointment. Which is what I wanted to tell her to make her think twice about the way she was behaving , it was absolutely disgusting behavior. When I tried to talk to the Dr about it in the room she got quiet and completely changed the subject by asking how my medication was working for me. No apology for her receptionist actions, no nothing . I'm literally crying my eyes out to Dr Bouillon and she ignored everything I had to say about the matter. I just am still in shock that this happened in front of their nurse, in front of other customers and no one said a word. The receptionist is a complete bullly. I will be reporting them and taking my business elsewhere . Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone . My god, be kind to others, it's not that effing difficult.

Very caring and good bedside manner. Always enjoyed my visits and felt very comfortable. Medical was always on target. She was thorough.

This Dr. seems to be another one that herds you in like cattle. They forget they work for you and not the other way around. I've been prescribed wrong medicines and that seems to happen frequently. Find another doctor ASAP!!!!

Have had two appointments that I've waited an hour and had to reschdule because I had somewhere else to be and couldn't wait any longer. Have had several appointments where I have waited well over an hour. Have received bills 8 months after a visit for a service that was not covered by insurance. When I questioned the staff, I was told "Oh! I told the billing person to let you know it was non-covered after the first rejection!" Guess what, she didn't! When I was finally seen after the excessive wait, you're shuffled in and out and STILL have to wait for whatever notes/scripts you requested. Medications have been prescribed for my daughter that require follow up blood work and I was told "in 3 months", then called back in three months and told "no, not yet." I have called about symptoms related to my medication and questioned about other symptoms I've never had or reported and told "I know you have a history of this..." Umm, no, never have. Ok if you're looking for a quick antibiotic at… the last minute, but expect to sit and W-A-I-T to be seen for an office visit first. And don't even get me started on the inappropriateness of the chatting in the hall, at the desk and what's considered "office attire"....
