After suffering with a non-healing, oozing, horrible looking hernia repair scar for almost a year (performed by a front range surgeon), Dr Shiao fixed me! He took all the time I needed to explain possible causes, treatments and risks. With the decision I made for him to perform a new repair, he found a remaining small hernia, which he repaired and finished off by fixing the scar remaining to look a million times better! After two failed hiatal hernia surgeries Dr. Shiao was recommended to me by my primary care Doctor and I only wish I had gone to him prior to the previous surgeries.
