Dr. Tisha Najet Lunsford, MD

When I first met Dr Lunsford I really liked her. I am a 80 year old grandmother and Live in Oregon with my loving husband. When I met her she asked what upset me the most in my life. I said giving my son up for adoption 55 years ago. The doctor then decided I needed psychiatric help so sent me to a psychiatrist. I came there for my stomach problems but when I left she gave me very addictive drugs Buspirone, Lexapro and others. I took the drugs 6 weeks but got headache and felt off. My husband said the drugs were very addictive so I quit them. I went into very awful withdrawals. It almost ruined my life . I had to be rushed to the ER in Oregon and the doctor said I was now addicted to these drugs. I don't have any mental problems but going through the withdrawals has been the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life. I went to Mayo for my stomach problems. This Dr only saw me once and prescribed me these awful narcotics.

How amazing she is after 50 years of trying to find out why my stomach was making me so sick she has hit on several things that could be the problem. I have never meant a doctor this great before in my life. Very caring loving and listens to you. I highly recommend her.

Racist woman. Talks down to you. If you’re a minority in San Antonio, go anywhere else but here. I’m surprised she doesn’t bring a gun into the room anytime she sees me because she’s apparently afraid of minorities. You’re a terrible human.

I had an excellent GI doctor in Dallas, then moved to SA and was lost. I read some reviews and basically just went to Dr. Lunsford out of my gut instinct. I was so happy with my choice! Dr. Lunsford listened to everything I had to say and asked many questions. She was so caring and compassionate towards my IBS and sincerely tried to help me. I have been so multiple doctors for IBS and most brush you off as IBS is misunderstood. Unless you have it, you will never understand. She appeared to really understand and gave me a few options to better enhance my life. She told me to go home and think about my decision and call her back when I decided. I called her back and spoke to her nurse, Leah, who is amazing as well. She wrote the prescription, and has since re-filled my prescription without me having to come back in. Mot doctors make you come back every few months, and that is very costly. She trusts me and my decisions, and I trust her. I would highly recommend her for any GI concerns or… needs. The admin staff is great as well when trying to get ahold of the nurse or answering my questions.

IBS is an embarrassing issue. Dr. Lunsford is so nice and caring...she just doesn't let you be embarrassed!
