Dr. Troy Christopher Ellis, MD

Dr. Ellis is the worst dermatologist I've/any family memember have ever been to. He has two answers for everything: it's staph infection or it's because your mature. My last visit he would not come within 20 feet of me and he misdiagnosed so bad I had to go to another doctor. The other doctor asked me if by chance I had seen Dr. Ellis at Beatrice Keller – I said yes. He said they were getting all types of patients who had been misdiagnosed by him! Dr. Ellis charged me $300 for under 5 minutes. Then didn't send my bill to the correct address, so there was nothing I could pay. Then they started calling me and talking to me like I was a deadbeat. I asked for a bill and that’s when they said “oh we don’t have the right address for you, we left off a number”. I had to ask two more times for a bill while they continued to call me twice a day at work and harassed me about payment. I never got the detailed bill I asked for. I mailed them my payment and three weeks later they said… they didn’t get it. So, I paid them via phone and was assured by the office manager that they would not run the other payment thru if they did receive it. Well now they did run thru the second payment! And I’m getting a run around saying they see I now have a credit but it will take over two weeks to get the money back to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!

Performs an extremely thorough examination. Takes the time to explain what he is doing. Spotted a small red spot on my forearm. Was unsure of what it was so he sent it for a biopsy which revealed it to be squamous cell skin cancer. He then surgically removed the cancer. discusses your entire health and not just skin issues. So professional and personable that my wife sees him after meeting him and watching him perform my exams.

I enjoy the visit at Dr Ellis office, he is able to listen and determine solutions for your problems. I recommend him as an outstanding.
