Dr. Wendi Moore Carns, MD

Carns recognized early on that for her, medicine is a vocation, a calling, not just a career. From sharing in the joy of new parents to helping mature patients realize renewed health, Carns provides women of all ages and backgrounds with choices and guidance through all of their gynecologic needs. Carns has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery, as a means to restore health and get patients back to their lives far sooner than possible with traditional surgery. Carns is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where she also completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Carns makes her home in Cape Girardeau with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing in the backyard with her kids, supporting them in their various activities, playing piano and golfing.
