Dr. Yasir Akram Mekki, MD

Dr. Mekki has been my Dr. For over 20 year and he is amazing. His office ladies are kind and wonderful! Dr. Mekki remembers the small details! He really is an amazing DR.

Dr Mekki delivered my third baby, and while my experiences with the first two deliveries were generally good, I was amazed at how skilled he was in making the delivery as smooth and easy as he could. He was great about answering my questions, giving recommendations based on my preferences, and offering suggestions (which I’m so glad to have taken!) without judgment or pressure. His staff have excellent bedside manner, and were also very helpful in the questions they took the time to ask, and the information they offered. His partner Dr Schreiber did a number of my prenatal visits, and I thought she was very good as well! Highly recommend this practice!

Dr Mekki has delivered my friends and my family members babies. He speaks fluent Spanish which is very helpful as most of my family speaks Spanish. He has been my gynecologist for years. He has a very good in office nurse and assisting doctor.

The only bad thing ... appointment are for 2-3 hours. I hate waiting !!!!!!

Dr. Mekki is praised for his surgical technique however, his bedside madder is HORRIBLE! He was/is not my Dr. yet he was on call when I delivered my daughter. At no point did he attempt to establish a relationship with me. The only curetisy he gave me was a handshake when I first entered the hospital. After a long labor, my daughter needed to be born via vacuum extraction. I was not allowed to ask questions about the procedure and as I was being handed the consent form he had already started the processes. I screamed from pain and he told me to remain silent and at no point did he communicate with me where I was at in the process of the delivery. After she was born I continued to ask questions of which he ignored me. Once things calmed down I asked my nurse if the vacuum-assisted birth was an emergency since Dr. Mekki did not communicate with me or make eye contact. She informed that no, I did have a choice to keep pushing. I was so mad because he did not communicate this with… me at all! She also stated that what I experienced is his common bedside manner and apologized on his behalf.

This doctor is always late, they schedule appointment when the doctor is not even there, makes you wait during labor, RUDE STAFF, HORRIBLE

I have been going here with my wife for her appointments and half of the staff is rude they schedule appointments when the Dr is not there, They forget to put us on the schedule and they are very rude. They never follow up when they say they are the Dr is nice but I could care less about their staff that always looks like they are mad.

Dr mekki made me wait 1 hour because he was out. Why would you scheudle someone when he even see you. There was a total of 5 people that ended up walking out because they were all scheudle but the doctor wasnt in for another hour! All the paients said this was not the first time he has done this to them. I ended up waiting the hour and he never showed after an 1 and a half i left! His staff was horribly rude and kept making me walk in and then back out to the waiting room. Couldnt be bothered to open the window to talk to you. Never agian will i go here!

Nurses are rude and unknowledgeable. Doctor rarely sees you only the nurse does. I went here for my first pregnancy and I regret it. I always had more questions than answers. They never explained my process always rushed with all my appointments.
