For years I had a growing fibroid that had already reached a 10-inch diameter and was only getting bigger. My primary doctor told me that I should get it surgically removed, yet almost every doctor I spoke to told me that they would have to perform a large vertical abdominal incision to remove the fibroid. I refused to have such an invasive surgery that would lead to a long and painful recovery. Luckily this year, after doing more and more research about the possibility of having the surgery done robotically, I thankfully found Dr. Yitzhack Asulin. Practically no one wanted to operate on my very large fibroid with these more modern, robotic methods but Dr. Asulin assured me it was possible. Dr. Asulin was very professional and kind and called to answer any questions I had. The surgical coordinator in his office, Kadie, was also very accommodating and helped answer many questions I had and helped make me less nervous. I had my surgery two weeks ago and am so grateful that I went the… total robotic surgery route to have my hysterectomy and remove the fibroid. I was able to walk the very next day after my surgery and am recovering well. Thank you, Dr. Asulin! Do not let doctors tell you that open surgery is the only way, robotic surgery is just as safe and is a much less painful option!

Ok, so I want to first tell you how long it’s taken me to write this review. And I hope if anything it saves a women from having to go through such a traumatic experience as I did. I suffer from cysts on my ovaries and dr. Assoulin operated on me with robotic surgery to help get rid of them. When I woke up from my surgery I was horrified to see that he had carelessly cut me through the stomach above the belly button with six very abrasive and aggressive cuts which are super visible. Well you can only imagine my reaction when I woke up to this nightmare after surgery. When dr. Assoulin came to see me at the hospital I felt he never even processed how this would affect me which I think is super important as these scars will be with me for the rest of my life. The cuts were very carelessly done and now I am lifer with six huge keloids on my abdomen that i will never be able to get rid. This has affected me in every aspect of my life as I find myself not being able to look in a mirror in… morning without getting super depressed. You can only imagine how shameful I feel to let people get close enough to me to see them. I hope women read this review and PLEASE choose another doctor.Please it took me four years to write this review but owe it to other women to make sure they never experience what I went through. In light of mental health issues I think it’s important that we acknowledge that physical disfigurement in the name of convenience and time for the surgeon is a price no women should ever have to pay. I have been told some really awful things because of my scars from the result of dr. Assoulins “state of the art” surgery. And I also feel I was the first ethnic woman he performed on and as a result he doesn’t do this surgery on ethnic women because of my tragic results. Please I beg you to find another doctor who understands you rather than just sees you as a big dollar sign. After my surgery I went back to show him my scars and how he ruined my stomach and was horrified that he didn’t seem to care anymore because it wasn’t “his” problem. He looked horrified when I lifted my shirt but then just told me that I should make sure no other doctor cuts me through the stomach. Then he sent me on my way. And never even acknowledged the fact that he created these scars and I am the one who will always have to live with them for the rest of my life. He has also never contacted me again which just shows you that all you are is a big fat dollar sign to this man. PLEASE this review has taken me so long to find the courage to write but I am only writing it in hopes that women stop allowing this man to ruin your life and PLEASE find another doctor so that you are spared the trauma I face every single day. I worked with Dr.Asulin for 2 years and I can tell you he only gives perfection. He doesn’t settle for less. Trust him with my life for sure.

He is a truly a dedicated and very knowledgeable and caring person. I needed revision surgery from not going to the right dr. He truly changed my life for the better and gave me a better lifestyle in my 50’s. I highly recommend him

He operated me 6 months ago and now I feel refreshed. Definitely the best. Caring and kind. Tries to understand every single details and never underestimates you like other docs do. Best of ever. Thanks for saving my life!
