Dr. Duane Oliver Sherwin, MD

I have over 11 years of pschotherapy under my belt. I have suffered from schizophrenia and associated disorders my since the my teens. I am now 61. I was 35 when I tried Dr. Sherwin. After some conversation and an injection of some pschotropic medication. He pulled out his prescription pad and scribbled "Psycobable". As he handed it to me he said "He forgot the author but on my way back home stop at the bookstore and order this out of print book" He set an appointment for treatment in another 2 weeks. I saw him until his retirement, 3 or 4 years I think. I still have my problems. I am now retired after being promoted to supivisor on a Nuclear Submarine that didn't work well with my personality. At least I can funtion even though I still suffer from schizotypal isolation. I maintain and am as happy as can be expected, keeping in mind by nature schizophrenia is a misserable expererience.
