The pain 5-9 days later was so bad my parents had to find me pain medication from friends.he was cold and acted like I was lying.i will do surgery on myself before going to him.

I first saw Dr. Engdahl when I got hurt at work in 1993 when another worker broke a safety rule. He was so good to me when he found out I could never work at any of my previous jobs again he refused to release me until I was retrained so the BVR paid for 2 years of college and I was able to baby that disk and work another 8 years because of him. One time my primary doctor was sure I had gout in my foot and I did not agree. I asked for a second opinion from Dr. Engdahl and he found it to be a huge cyst growing in my foot and successfully removed it. I owe him so very much that I could never express it enough.

I saw dr engdahl to have a minor meniscus surgery. He never spoke to my husband after my surgery & had left the building when my husband demanded to speak with him when I was in recovery. When we went back for my follow up he started talking abt a total knee replacement. When we tried to question him abt why he never gave us a straight answer. He actually had us schedule a second surgery to trim up the ragged edges of the meniscus. Before that happened, We ended getting a second opinion at Ortho Neuro only to find out EVERYTHING WAS REMOVED out of my knee. The doctor up there literally fell out of his chair as he had never seen such a screwed up mess. Dr. Engdahl wanted to do surgery on something he had already removed!! We immediately cancelled that 2nd surgery & was questioned by the staff why we wanted to cancel it. It made sense after found there was nothing there as to why my pain was soooooo much worse than before the surgery he did. Genesis wonders why people go to New Albany… for their surgeries--Dr Engdahl is/was part of their problem. I have told any & everybody I talk to NOT TO GO TO DR ENGDAHL & to go to New Albany/OrthoNeuro.
