Dr. Eduardo Besser, MD

I saw Dr. Besser because I needed an MD who had a YAG laser which he has. I had to call around to find an MD who had this. Mostly found this practice to be good. Their staff answer the phone, not a call center which is nice. If anyone needs that laser, was a short simple procedure.

If you got nothing to do in your life and are OK to be treated like animals taking you from one room to another, this place is for you. We had an appointment at 10 am and got there at 9:50 am to fill out the paperwork. The waiting room was full of people as if you had walked in an urgent care. After almost one hour they call us in and a nurse asks "why we're here for". We explain she takes typical eye exam for glasses then takes us to another waiting area till a room is empty and we can have the honor and privilege of seeing the doctor. At 11:10 am we go to that room only for another nurse to come in and ask "why we're here for". We explain again and she brings a tool to measure eye pressure; she disappears and doc besser is not here yet. I complain to another nurse only to ask us the same stupid question of "why we're here for". At this point I lose my patience and say we're here to see the fuc*ing doctor and walk out. A doctor that has zero respect for his patients cannot be a… good one.

I had developed early-onset cataracts (at age 38). The condition left me unable to meet job requirements. Dr Besser (and the ENTIRE staff at Angeles Eye Inst.) did a SUPERIOR job of education, accomodating, and treating me. Dr Besser has a wonderful, caring personality backed by extensive knowledge and experience. I give my full, personal recommendation to anyone seeking eye care to stop seeking and go straight to Dr Besser!
