Dr. Eduardo Montoya, MD

This guy does not even deserve 1 star. He is arrogant, not very forthcoming, he lacks empathy and his demeanor is less than garbage towards his patients and family caregivers. Basically, anywhere his career takes him he will fail. He is very greedy and overcharged his patients. My mom saw him when he was at MarianJoy. Her private insurance covered the appointment for a neuropsych exam. Months later we receive a bill from him. Which we refused to pay since the contracted amount was paid by the insurance company. The insurance copy mentioned that the doctor was wrong for sending us a bill when they agreed to a contracted amount since we were in network with marianjoy and Montoya. I made sure to call their insurance dept and my mom's private insurance company to check prior to making an appointment. I told his office to write off the bill because we aren't paying and that they received their money because the EOB statement shows it as we'll as the insurance company has confirmed it. This… doctor is sneaky too! Now he works for a cash only practice. I guarantee he has inflated the prices for his services without a doubt. BEWARE.

Literally had an anxiety attack right after speaking to him, was legitimately scared that I was going to die due to high heart rate and inability to breath. He was so rude and unprofessional. Did not understand basic psychological issues either. Number one in my book for worst doctor appointment ever!
