Dr. Edward Joseph Damrose

Dr. Damrose is a unique combination of an exceptionally skilled physician and a caring, communicative and sensitive person. He should be cloned to have more doctors like him!

Dr. Damrose is the best doctor I have ever had. He is very kind, and compassionate. A very knowledgeable surgeon, that aggressively uses every resource available to give his patients the best care. On Nov. 9, I had surgery,( a Parotidectomy ) to remove a tumor on my neck. Surgery went great, tumor removed, and thank God the tumor was benign ! I prayed much about selecting a surgeon, and God gave me His best....... Dr. Damrose.

I met with Dr. Damrose for a follow up visit recently at Stanford. He is absolutely the best of the best. Outstanding clinical skills and takes time to listen to his patients. If you need an ENT physician for laryngeal related issues, this is the individual that you should see.

I recently had a post op consultation with Dr. Damrose at Stanford. I had my surgery performed at UCLA and needed a follow up scope, consultation and a second opinion. I researched ENT physician's and noticed two that came up for laryngology. Dr. Zeitels in Boston and Dr. Damrose. I live in California and decided to see Dr. Damrose. He was extremely professional, performed the best scope I have had, and is very considerate. His front office (George) was terrific as well as the team at the Palo Alto office. I have been in the healthcare industry for the past 27 years, Dr. Damrose is outstanding.

Time spent with patient, interest and sincere caring, intelligence, gentleness, thoroughness, followup, what more can we say? Would follow any advice he gave! He cares about his patients and will go the extra mile for all !!!

anyone that has a neck tumor really needs to see Dr Damrose.I had a very large, 10.5cm paraganglioma tumor in my neck and Dr Damrose and Dr Blevins were able to remove it. I cannot imagine anyone else able to perform a surgery that took 12 1/2 and I came out of it as best as could be expected considering the size of the tumor. He is the best.

My only complaint is sometimes his surgery coordinator sets up surgery dates & times & pre-op appointments & either does not communicate with the hospital staff and/or follow through so upon arrival pre-ops & surgeries end up being non existant. You have to always get written confirmation & keep it on you to have proof so the hospital staff will work with you when these moments happen. Also sometimes the surgery coordinator says one thing & I find out from other staff members and/or hospital staff that it's something else other than what was said & done. It's very frustrating when these mistakes are made & when its occurred more than a few times.

You won't find a better Doctor than Dr. Damrose.
