Excellent Doctor. Always very patient with all his patients.

I’ve been seeing Doc Freeman for several years. I find our meetings to be enjoyable. He may seem a bit brusque, but so am I. Its a case of a curmudgeon helping a curmudgeon. It works for me. And thats all that matters.

I went to him to get medication because I didn’t like my other doctor . Dr. Edward B Freeman Basically told me to get more Counseling and that he wasn’t going to give me meds to go back to my other doctor after I told him I came to him because my other doctor didn’t listen to me about my meds he told me meds wasn’t going to help me after I’ve been on meds for over seven years and they help some he basically dismissed me I wish I would have read the reviews about this place before I went I was never so lost and treated badly by a professional as this doctor did

I had read the reviews before going to Dr. Freeman, but I figured he could not be that bad, my symptoms are very obvious so I did not think there would be an issue of debate. I was wrong, he basically said there was nothing he could do for me and for me to find someone else. But he advertises as specializing in this area? I waited a little over six weeks for this appointment knowing that I was finally going to get help, for him just to tell me it could be multiple things and to find someone else. I was crying and defeated knowing I would have to wait another two months to possibly get some real help. I have never had a doctor that was so unhelpful or made me feel even worse than when i came in. The condescending attitude and aloofness was kind of shocking but I don’t judge because I know that you can misread people and signals, BUT the practically throwing me out the office with a “not my problem” demeanor is what shocked me and made me wonder how this person has any repeat patients.… Im honestly scared to even go to a new doctor because I cannot go through another experience like that.

I have seen Dr. Freeman a total of 3 times. In these 3 sessions, he has made me feel worse about myself than my depression does. He literally asked me if I had a “learning disability” because I could not remember the name of a previous psychiatrist. He is very arrogant and rude. He mad me feel so small compared to him. Avoid him at all costs!

This Dr was the worst Dr I have came across ! I have worked in medical setting for many years ! My first appointment he asked why I was sent to him and what I thought he could do about it ! I was shocked at this response from a supposedly professional MD !! I found he wasn't professional when he did no assessment or asked anything on why I felt I needed to be seen !! He stated only that he needed to see for himself the diagnoses ! If this Dr is diagnosing on solely body language , then we really need to BEWARE ! I knew he couldn't help me ! I got up and told him he wasn't capable of helping me . I felt like my time was wasted and I didn't receive quality care or my needs didn't matter or were met . He debated with my husband on his concerns for me like he had a ego trip and nothing else mattered . Can you listen to your patients ? You can't judge someone or what they are dealing with by just looking . Proper assessment , communication and skills must be demonstrated . He lacks all… these . It was a disappointment . We were arguing at front desk and he even gave number to another clinic , as if he didn't want to deal with my concerns . Another MD was standing there and asked if I was a new patient but didn't offer to help . This office was by far the worst place I have ever encountered ! Lack of compassion , understanding , professionalism and decency ! Beware ! Worst experience ever .. Will never be back and won't recommend !!!

Probably the worst Doctor I have seen in the 8 years I have been seeing a physicist. This doctor belittles constantly and always throws his education in your face . I guess to validate his diagnosis for you or your problems you are having. He doesn't listen he asks questions and want the "simplest answer" . I was diagnosed with severe anxiety by my previous doctor and was on clonazepam for about 5 years. This Dr. freeman wants me to stop taking them and have me a anti depressant paroxetine which did not work it actually made me feel worse than ever. He refuses to give me and type of benzo medication. Which I understand are highly addictive! However I am not a addict never was . I have had 30 pills for over a month and still have a few left and take them as needed! I would love to get rid of my anxiety and am being councled but in the mean time I need something for my symptoms! Will not return waited a half hour for my appointment and was not given a new prescription!

I really like this Dr. Could not imagine seeing any one that could be as good.

When I went in there I left thinking is this some sort of joke? This guy says things as if he wants a reaction which is why he got no satisfaction from me because as much as I love debating, I decided it better to either ignore his insults or quickly discredit his discreditting to the point that he could only say okay to my comebacks. He went on to call my primary care doctor stupid for putting me on psych medications at one of my suicidal moments, and to say the doctor who diiagnosed me always diagnoses people the same way. He even claimed I wanted him to fix my problems. EITHER WAY, I think i find it moatly hilarious that he said I had no sickesses yet expected me to come back... HE also missed his first appt with me for his vacation and yet they try to charge you 50 dollars if you don't cancel within 24 hours. Funny thing is they offer you a courtesy call.... only 23 hours or less ahead of the appt. Either way, my primary care doc saved my life with his kindhearted bedside manners… and promptness in providing emergency treatments and has also been known and voted best in central TX for about 4 years straight now. so mr. Freeman with all your 1 star reviews, if he is so "stupid" then you must be past a vegetable state. Congrats.

Took my opinion seriously. Medication I was put on helped a great deal. I didn't feel like a victim of my condition. Probably a little more stern than most people are used to, but worked for me. I missed half my appointments, help was still given to me. I would definitely go back. That being said I'm not one to be coddled. this Dr. Worked for me.
