Dr. Edward Levy, MD

Dr. Levy is amazing at what he does. He has great bedside manners and is all around an awesome Dr. - He always makes every visit comfortable, answers any and all questions I have, and always makes sure I’m doing okay mentally and physically. I have has him for both of my pregnancies - both have been rough, and he has always been reassuring and does everything he can to make sure everything is perfect for me. Definitely recommend him if you’re looking for someone who listens to you, is sincere/kind, and is good at their job.

Dr. Levy has delivered two of my children and soon to be third in a few months, surgery to remove cysts, and yearly visits. I have moved several times, even across the river to Illinois and won't switch doctors. His office is always willing to fit you in if you need to be seen. The longest wait time was maybe 20 minutes, other than they are 90-95% on time. I never feel rushed, and my questions are always answered. The front office staff is extremely courteous. The billing staff on site is very helpful, and the ultrasound technician Maureen is wonderful. Robin, his nurse, has a wonderful bedside manner as well! I have never had billing issues with his office. I would highly recommend him or any of the other doctors in the same office.

I went to him to repair my bladder after a surgery that didn't work. He did a great job.

I have medicare and called numerous times they keep sending.me the bill medicare verbally approved the services?? Their billing dept is questionable My main concern was the pelvic prolapse surgery which went well at first then later I felt the buldge return the bladder slipped again at this visit time he stated "what happened well you don't need surgery at this time" upon return months later at yearly check up he stated he was pleased with the surgery ?? It has definitely slipped more and I researched the physical therapy too late why wasn't I referred post surgery to help strengthen the pelvic muscles I found this info and went on my own I was billed for a wellness consultation which I did not receive the last visit was a fast pelvic exam/breast exam only and I was told. I was in good condition at my age he chose not to acknowledge the bladder had slipped and obviously forgot his reaction/statement at the previous visit The yearly check up was rushed and he gave… conflicting information my bladder has slipped back to where it was before surgery I 'm sure he's a good surgeon the failure was neither of our fault however I would have appreciated more honesty and referrals to resources/help after the surgery which may have made a difference I'm not sure if I will go back

I went to Dr. Levy for my yearly check up, since I had not had one for four years. He charged me for other things, that insurance does not cover. Also, there was not a nurse in the room when he examined me. I will not go back there. His staff is nice, but I do not trust Dr. to charge the correct charges.

Busy but listens

Dr. Levy is a great doctor. He delivered two of my kids and then after moving out of the area for years, upon my return, he took care of me promptly when I needed a hysterectomy. The only downside I saw was the handling of past due bills while waiting for insurance payment. I was unable to return in follow up because the insurance payment was delayed and they wanted an estimated patient portion before I could see him. If I didn't have my portion, I would have to reschedule. I know it is a business but thought that was handled poorly. He is one of the best though. Highly recommended.

I am recommending Dr. Levy to any woman whose pelvic floor problem was as bad as mine. Dr. Levy has given me my quality of life back again, had very little pain after surgery. I feel like a new and younger woman now. Thank you Dr. Levy!!!
