Dr. Edward Victor Rutkovsky, MD

Dr. Rutkovsky is a good doctor but the wait times have become almost unbearable for me. He juggles between the back and front and most of the time i have to wait at least 1/2 hour or more in a exam room to be seen. Unfortunately after about 20 years of seeing him I will probably have to make a change.

Very straight to the point in revealing test results. We liked that very much

There was no privacy in the room for an echocardiogram, the door wide open , your clothing left on a chair at that door, other techs coming into room talking and kidding around as they were shuffling thru files- Totally non professional ! The tech performing the echo was great. The stress test and the heart pic scanning might as well have been done in the parking lot since both sets of blinds were raised for anyone to see. ABSURD, totally not professional. I agree w comment maybe doc pushes people to get stress tests. Only because it is located with the same offices of other internists, if an echo is needed on the spot its a default tone sent to him. Oh well. The doc was okay and fine, no problems with that. But they ought to get their place in order. Personally I would never otherwise go there.

Dr. Rutkovsky doesn't spend enough time with his patients. He doesn't tell his patients that he doesn't make hospital visits. If you need him in the hospital, he will send an associate and wash his hands of the problem. He would rather make his money running the stress clinic.

Best doctor in the NYC area. Always caring about your problems and follows up on past problems. Highly recommended.
