My crown fell off and Dr. Segal came highly recommended to me for an implant consultation. After initial exam, Dr Segal suggested very expensive periodontal work before addressing what I had initially come to see him for. He also recommended extraction of another tooth which he said needed removal. This tooth was asymptomatic to me and whatever he found was an incidental finding. When I brought up cost and the fact that I don’t have enough money right now for the “incidental finding” tooth, Dr. Segal replied “If you have the money for the first tooth than you have money for this one also.” The doctor was rude and seemed annoyed. He was not responsive to any of my questions or concerns and literally made me cry in his chair. Very unprofessional. Despite him possibly being a skilled dentist, he had very bad bedside manner. I will never go to him no matter how good of a specialist he is and would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Segal is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone. I felt very informed about the procedure he would be performing and he made sure all of my questions were answered. He has a wonderful staff as well who also are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions.

Overall amazing, I've heard several horror stories about gum surgery from multiple people and I could tell within seconds that I had come to the right guy.

The care I received for my gum issue resolved the problem. After care visits added to the thorough nature of the treatment that I received.
