Had to get oral surgery done here and it ended up terribly. Went to a different oral surgeon after to confirm the work and he said that the tooth was not capped properly and bacteria could easily flow in! How unacceptable and disgusting! Do not go here!

Did not see him was his hands. Did not introduce himself.used 3 shots of novacaine and it didn' work. Pulled the tooth. Did not ask me if I was ok. Ladies in front were great. Ii wont go back ever again.

Fancy place, terrible dentist.

The staff is great. When Dr Kam Patel walked in with no eye contact first thing he said loudly "Ready!" without bothering to introduce himself or calling me by name, immediately then he grabbed the local anesthetic injection and asked me which tooth we are taking out? after I should him which tooth and nurse mentioned to him he took half a second to look at the referral paper, asked me to open my mouth I thought he want to exam but he immediately start injecting with no warning Yelling " DO NOT MOVE, DO NOT MOVE", in 3 seconds he was done and left the room immediately, to return back few minutes later and grabbed the tool rushing to pull the tooth out fighting and yelling "DO NOT MOVE MY FRIEND x 3 , I CAN NOT WORK LIKE THIS MY FRIEND x 2" the tooth was out in 30-40 seconds and then he left the room again immediately. Pro: Fast, easy to get appointment, minimum pain, probably good hand skills. Cons: Rushing, hasty, poor communications, and unprofessional attitude.

While Dr. Patel successfully executed an extraction, I would never step foot in his offices again. First, he very unprofessionally called me "honey" at least twice. Probably because he didn't bother to see what my name was. I was kept waiting for at least 30 minutes while they checked on my copay. Note that the office had my insurance information the previous day. Once the extraction was completed, he asked me "how much do you love me?" Really? And no topical numbing before the local anesthetic was administered. Guess he just didn't have time to wait...

Dr. Patel is a skilled technician and gets the job done, for a very high dollar cost. However, he lacks in appropriate affect, empathy, and professionalism and these are serious concerns for potential patients. He is ready to blame and insult the patient (perhaps this is his odd sense of humor), but doesn't seem to care or realize the effects of his behavior. He acted rushed, arrogant, provided no discussion of risks and benefits, has a receptionist have you sign consent forms without explanation, and started the painful procedure without warning when he suggested he was merely taking a look. He answers questions when asked, but appeared to be annoyed by reasonable questions. Ultimately, he completed the procedure in a dexterous manner.

Procedure was painless, due to expensive (not covered by insurance) anesthesia, but the real pain was the lack of aftercare (getting sent home in a cab still heavily sedated) and having to deal with the office on billing. Beware.
