Dr. Edward Skwiersky, MD

I had a 7:30 appointment with dr ski wit sky.. I was really looking forward to seeing him cause of my cardiac issues . I got a babysitter for My kids , I got lost and couldn’t find the place and was about 15 minutes late. I even called and apologized multiple times . The office staff was horrible to me. Refused to let me see a doctor meanwhile there was not one single sole in the waiting room. Told me I live locally so I’m expected to know where they are . They were rude , dismissive and not the slightest bit sympathetic. Everyone’s human and has situations arise and for them to just tell me we will not see you to a new patient , I would never reccomend or go to a practice with such a nasty office staff . Madeline was beyond rude , and if this is where I would go I would be dealing with them for scheduling. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to see the doctor I would have loved to but because of their horrible staff I will never reccomend this place . By her telling me because I live… local I should know where they are is not an answer . Never have I been to this office and never will I go back to be treated so Inhumnaely. I can not believe I got a babysitter for my kids at 7 am and not even be seen by the doc because the office staff wouldn’t allow it. They could have easily said doctor your patient is a bit late but she is here because she isn’t feeling well , I am sure a good doctor would have said no problem I will see her . I would have gladly paid a late fee or even waited in the waiting room .

I visited Dr. Skwiersky’s office a few months ago with concerns about the heart palpitations that I’ve been having for a while. My concerns were brushed off (probably due to my age) with little explaination and he didn’t really seem to take my concerns seriously even after telling him that my father had a quadruple bypass at a very young age and that my uncle had died of a heart attach at the age of 52. I will say that I did have an ekg and was given a heart monitor to wear for a month. After turning the monitor in I waited two weeks before giving him a call back to see what the results were. During that time I checked my information online and the heart monitoring company’s interpretation was possible AFib. I was looking to discuss this information with him when he returned my call. Instead I was told that the monitor didn’t show much and he seemed to be in quite a rush to end the call even after I told him about recently finding out about a fatty liver which most heart doctors would… at least order an angiogram to see if there was any clogged arteries due to the illness as a possibility. But nope, he couldn’t be bothered, he just talked over me and hurriedly ended the call. I was so upset. I was relying on him to help me. When you are not feeling good especially when it comes to your heart I feel that the doctor who is responsible for your care should be willing to do whatever it takes to put your mind at ease. Instead I was made to feel like I wasting his time. My advice go to a doctor who has your best interest at heart and truly cares about your health. Not someone who will treat you like a pest.

this must have been an off day, but I waited almost 2 hrs for my last appointment. Most of the time it is less than 1/2 hr.
