Dr. Edward Stark, MD

I made the mistake of seeing Dr. Stark not once, but twice. At both appointments he was condescending, lacked knowledge and experience about my issues, and generally spent the appointments talking down to me and interrupting me. I received no help, diagnosis, treatment, or meaningful medical support from Dr. Stark (although he did admit that scrotal/testicular/urinary issues weren't his area of expertise...even though he's a urologist?) Both appointments were such shocking experiences, I got up and left my second appointment in the middle of it.

I did not received the attention needed. Rushed me out of my appointment. He did not try to answer any of my concerns, disregarded my questions and my concerns. I would not recommend him if you want to ask questions and get a full analysis of your concern.

Dr. Stark was rude and seemingly irritated by my questions. He barely let me get a word in, I had to interrupt him if I wanted to say anything because he never gave me a chance to speak after initially asking me why I was there but even when he did ask why I was there he interrupted me soon after to correct me on proper terminology. I actually started tearing up in his office out of pure frustration.

We were referred to this office by our primary physician for High PSA levels (Why would you send us here?). First off, we were sent to see Dr. Rosavelt Allen. The staff mixed up the appointment location (I was suppose to go to tree lane in Snellville) and was sent to Lawrenceville office. We ended up seeing Dr. Stark - What an experience: this is a cold and uninterested, doctor. He was argumentative when my wife would asked questions, as if he was irritated with her for asking. He does not listened and you get the feeling as if you are being rushed out of his office because he doesn't have time - my wife finally had to lit off into him and let him know in no uncertain term "I was her husband of 42 years and she is going to asked questions whether he likes it or not. That was an argument between him and her. Come to find out this doctor had not even read the MRI that was sent over 1 week prior and he tried to blame my wife saying that he had not received it - we verified from the… MRI imaging center as well as the primary physician office that the docs were fax to his office over a 1 week ago. Make a long story short, his nurse finally came in with the records but my wife had already had him read the MRI from her iphone (she had a copy sent to her from the lab). He should have been embarrassed, but NOT. In the end he changed his attitude and started talking of the surgery I would need and for us to get back with him on that following Monday, huh that won't happen! We could'nt get out of there fast enough from that doctor and staff. We switched altogether to another facility and doctor. BAD DOCTOR!

My daughter has an autoimmune disease and was referred to Dr Stark a little over a month ago. Dr. Stark wanted my daughter to get further testing to see if she has a kidney blockage. One of the nurses in his practice went on vacation and did not send in the orders, delaying her test. We finally had them done, only to learn one kidney is working at 11% and the other close to 90%. Dr Stark told my daughter to schedule surgery but nothing else. No mention of a follow up appointment, no mention of her taking the medication that is vital for her, no anything but contact a robotic surgeon. We find out this news and Dr Stark so easily passed the buck to someone else for her care. He has left us with more questions than answers and obviously does not care what happens to my daughter from this point on. Why did you become a Dr. sir, if you do not care about patients?

Dr. Stark is well informed and seems to be interested in helping his patients. He has helped me with my OAB. I am well pleased with him.

Dr.Stark and his staff are the best

Dr. Stark is an excellent doctor. He methodically addressed my condition ultimately resulting in a very successful TUIP surgery.

I would most definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Everytime call to follow up, auto answer says " I did not get your response in time, good bye". late patient.
