Dr. Edward Calhoun Taylor, PhD

Our experience was one that felt like Dr Taylor was going through the motions of the evaluation with our child as well as with the explanations of the test results. We felt Dr Taylor did not explain the testing scores he was presenting— leaving us to wonder was he describing percentile ranks, standard scores,etc. In addition, he requested my child be present in the meeting yet he used analogies only an adult would understand and what seemed like stories he had told time and time again. You know when you get that feeling! We would not recommend Dr Taylor for child ( elementary or middle school) testing of dyslexia, attention or processing disorders.

Dr. Taylor was able to evaluate and describe our son in words that we could never do. I knew that I had a child that was gifted and had ADHD but I needed an advocate for him at his school. Dr. Taylor's report was very detailed and helpful. After my son was diagnosed properly, we were given insight on what we were dealing with and how to approach it. I am truly grateful that I was referred to Dr. Taylor.

As parents of four children we have dyslexia and ADHD, all of them have utilized Dr. Taylor's practice. He has partnered with us to help each of our children meet their individual goals academically, socially and emotional health and well being. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for him and his entire team. The respect that he caries into the community of academia has aided us in navigating and imanaging the educational process from elementary to college. Have four going thru the challenges, I know that every child and their circumstance is different. Thankful, Dr. Taylor treats each of them as the unique gifted student and individuals they are.
